It is getting hard to find good tires in this size for a decent price. Seems to work ok for the price but is mounted on a CX500 silverwing so can't push it very hard anyway. It will be a few more months to see how much it wears.

Great tire
I have put around 1000 miles on this tire. Had it for one week and rode 400 miles in the rain. The tire cornered great and had no problem with it holding the road. I cannot rate tread life, have not had it long enough. The only problem I see is they don’t make a front tire that fits my Honda VTX1300.

Can't beat the price
I ordered these tires on recommendation from a friend. They are all what he said. The tires look decent, give great stability, cornering ability and traction. I can't say how the track life is, as I have just mounted them; that is why the tread life is a neutral 3, but I am hoping will also be a 5; time will tell. But for the price if I get 8K or more I will be very happy; and I am guessing that I will get that and then some.

Awesome and inexpensive
These tires were very inexpensive. I put them on a 2008 Triumph America, which originally had a Metzeler ME 880 rear. The bike now handles better, tracks true and without adjustment in corners and rides very smoothly. No better tire for the money.

Bridgestone - S11 Spitfire
I am re-rating these tires as I have had some good rides in the WET!!! weather! I most recently riding down I 40 East Black Mountain, NC {in case you’re not familure with the stretch of highway, It's a steep downhill grade} & got hit with some heavy rain, at least an inch of water running down the road, handled very well. Will re-rate the tread life when it's time to replace them. I like the tire, it handles well, and the tires I switched from were Duro HF-918F and Duro HF-918R. So far I like them much better than the Doro, They have more sipes than the Duro's and are a better handling tire. Have over 3,000 miles on them & am glad I switched tires.

This is the second set of these I have had. Good tread life, reasonable traction. NOT for use on your crotch rocket. Great value for $ for your cruiser or 'standard'. Remember these are bias-ply tires, not radials.

I don't know of a better tire value out there. I have run these before and get 10-12K out of the rear and as much as 20K on the front on my '81 BMW R100RT. Decent handling, not too bad on grooved or grated surfaces. A little caution is prudent in the wet in my experience. The 120 width rubs on swingarm on my RT so I use the 110. Finally they can be a little greasy when new so one has to be careful until they are well scuffed in.

Bridgestone - S11 Spitfire Sport Touring
Didn't rate tires for wet traction due to the fact I have yet to ride in any real rain with them. Didn’t rate the tread life do to the fact that I have only had them a month and aprox. 1000 Miles. I like the tire, it handles well, and the tires I switched from were Duro HF-918F and Duro HF-918R. So far I like them much better than the Doro, They have more sipes than the Duro's and are a better handling tire.

Bridgstone s11 spitfire
These tires replaced the old, but previously recommended Dunlop d404. The Dunlop’s were quite worn, and were real skittish on even small sections of gravel( like a small section of driveway) the new s11's are much better stability all around. Just my .02 cents

Rear Tire is a winner!
About 11k wear before replacing with same S-11 Spitfire tire (still had some life left but wanted to match with a new front Spitfire). These tires are far superior than OEM; Makes the cruiser more stable in cornering.

Great sport touring tire for the money, durable and long lasting with excellent dry grip. In the rain it is not as good as the Battleax or Pirelli Sport Demon, but they are significantly less durable than the S11.

Tough Tire

Good Alternative to OEM Tire
The Bridgestone Spitfire S11 appears so far to be an excellent alternative to the OEM Dunlop K630 that came standard on my 250 Ninja. The difference in profile 130/90-16 vs. the original 130/80-16 adds a little to the ride height and quickens the bike’s steering somewhat. The larger circumference also reduces cruising engine RPMs about 3%. The bike handles and steers better than when the bike was new and I am looking forward to the tire lasting much longer than the 8500 miles I got out of the original equipment tire. Since I have only put about 1000 miles on the Bridgestone, its impossible to estimate the durability of the tire so I gave it an optimistic "5" rating.
