The Battlax tire was great. I put it on my Suzuki 650 Vstrom and works well on dirt and street. I got a good price, free shipping and saved the sales tax by buying online. The Motorcycle Superstore is a great place to buy cycle parts.

Battlax BT45V Rear
I am very impressed with this tire, having replaced a Metzler ME880. I've always used the Metzlers, but they stopped making it in my size. The Battlax instantly seemed smoother, and the bike rolls into cornerers easier, and sticks very well. I assume it because of a softer casing, and the rounder profile of the Bridgestone. It seemed fine in a short jaunt in a downpour, but it wasn't a long enough rain ride to say for sure. I liked this tire so much, I ordered a front to replace the ME 880 even though its got a few thousand left on it! Haven't put enough miles on it to judge tread life.

Battlax is a good tire for touring
So far (600 miles), seems to be a good tire. Traction is good, wet is fair. Looks to be a long wearing tire. Ride and sidewall flex is fair. To be fair, my older CBR 1000 F is sporting bias ply, I’m thinking radials would probably perform better. But considering my local dealer quoted me 280 (installed) for a tire I got for 109 shipped, it’s a great deal. Not meant for sport and twisties, but handles the weight and ride o.k.

I have a GS500F Suzuki and the BT45 came stock on it. I love the tires but have not really rode in the rain and the jury is still out on the tread life as well. I know I can corner with confidence on these tires and they feel very solid under me.

Excellent bargain!
I replaced a very tired Dunlop with this Bridgestone, and couldn't be happier. Highway stability, wet traction, cornering, all great. Have put over a thousand miles on them and have not seen any change in performance either. Hope the last a while!

Great Tire!
Replaced a worn out Dunlop with the BT-45V on my '93 Seca II, and it is great! Had some good rain the last few days, wonderful stability. Used to have to feather the throttle when coming away from a stop, now the Bridgestone in the back is solid. Went for a 70+ mile ride in the wet with some good curvy roads and it did not get upset by cracks and rough road. Awesome deal!
