6000 Miles Update - Kawi Concours 06
Mostly on highway, after 6k miles, start to show square off on the rear tire; front tire (storm) is still like new. Traction is good, but become easy to make squeal sound when hitting rear brake hard for red light stop.
Maybe good for another 4,000 miles.

Azaro 150/80/16
One of the only remaining options for the C-10 Concours. These are excellent handling and gripping tires that unfortunately don't last long. Third rear Azaro I've had and I am luck to get 6,000 miles out of them before they square off and are too worn to safety ride on.

first 2000 miles - Kawasaki Concours 06
Rreplaced with Mich; tire tread is deep (looks good), ground contact area is obviously narrower (compare to Mich). But much easier to make turns (leaning). Doing good in a couple of full brake situations. Still a little bit of swimming on highway when reach speed limit. Maybe it is caused by bike's faring, not sure. Never ride in wet roads, so no inputs on that. BTW, also got the matched Avon front tire at the same time.

There are not too many 16 inch rear tire options for a good handling tire and I was glad to see an option for the Avon AV46 Azaro. I hope to get more than 5k out of the tread, but the handling in rain, heat, and gravely corners is worth it. Superstore had great prices with free shipping! The most amazing thing was that I ordered them on a Thursday and they showed the next day on Friday afternoon!

This is the second Azaro rear I’ve had on my 2004 Sportster and I love them! I ride almost daily with a fifty mile round trip commute. The rear tire lasted 6400 miles and the front has 7800 miles and is still rolling. This was my first set of radials and I will never go back to bias! The Azaros give a level of confidence that is inspiring regardless of conditions. They have made my daily ride even more fun and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who enjoys a spirited ride.
