This has become my favorite tire.
This is my second set of Avon tires on my Kawasaki Concours. There is no comparison between the stock Dunlops and the Avons. When I put the first set on it was like riding a different bike. I like the way they hold the road in the turns and grip the road in wet weather. I got about 9500 miles on the first set (the rear tire could have gone a while longer but I changed both at the same time). I would recommend these tires without any reservations.

great value
I have been running OEM Dunlops on my Concours and have not been very happy. I decided to try the Avon and am very happy. The tread pattern is much better on grooved pavement, and the tire seems to perform very well. During the first 250 Kms, the tire did break slightly on aggressive, tight corners, but was flawless after this initial breaking period.

Avon Azaro rear tire
Of the tires I have used in the 73,800 miles I have been looking to find the best all around rear tire, this is it. I would wish for more mileage but what I have found is the tire manufacturers do not care they sell more tires...enough said. This is my second and not my last Avon Azaro rear tire, my first one lasted 8,500 miles and I would have gone a little further except the matching front tire was showing cords, the rear was near its end, and to date is the best tire I have used on the rear of my 06 Concours.

This was a replacement for the same tire. I purchased this one because I liked the other one. Great handling in wet or dry riding. Decent mileage. A very good tire, in my opinion.

great tire for the price
I am on my second set of tires and about to purchase a third set. I have both front and rear Avons and rolling on 12 thousand miles these need to be replaced.. Still work very well although they are getting flat in the middle. I love the handling and feel of a new set...

Avon Azzaro 45 & 46
Spooned the Azzaros onto the old 1200 Bandit before an extended trip out west last September. After 6,197.5 miles out to CO, WYO, UT, MT and back across the midwest the rear is toast, front shows little wear. Most speeds were well over the speed limit and mountain roads challenging. Over 100 hp at the rear hoop tends to eat rubber at high speed but I'm putting another AV46 on asap. These tires are great.

Excellent long-life tire
I purchased the Avon AV46 for my YZF600 about two years ago. (The original Bridgestone lasted 9,000 miles, and the Dunlop D220 got a nail in it - no fault of Dunlop). This tire has 12,000 miles on it and still plenty of tread depth. It doesn't feel quite as grippy, so I will probably replace it soon. Nevertheless, if you're a sport touring rider like me, and you desire both grip AND tread life, this is a terrific tire.
