Mark Glendale,  CA 16" Radial for 86' FJ1200 This is my second AV45 for the front of my stock 86' FJ1200. The first tire I got as a set so I have the AV46 on the rear. My initial impression with Avons was "Really great tires". The profile was more sport than the Dunlop sport/Touring I changed from. The turn in was quick and light and having radials in corners felt much more solid. I wore out the sides of front tire after about 3,500 miles. The tops of the tire looked new with lots of tread, I don't tour much. I would rather change rubber than plastic, so even with the mileage low I will stick with the Avons. The price could not be beat, I paid $40 less than other stores including the shipping.

Tom Mahnke Austin,  TX The Do Last! I actually got 15k on them. The rear still had life in it. I could lean it all the way to the edge with confidence. I did pick up two nails on the rear tire over its life but other than that I will reorder them.

Tom Schmidt Eden Prairie,  MN Avon AV45 Tire This is my third Avon AV series front tire on my 93 FJ1200 motorcycle. I love these tires. The bike turns with much less effort, they are much better in the wet and last longer than any previous tire I've tried. I get 11-12k miles on the tires with little or no cupping despite lots of high speed freeway driving.
