I have progressed thru various brands and these Pilot 3's are far better in almost every way. I ride Angeles Crest Hwy nearly every day and these tires give me complete control. Tread life is average for my bike (Honda ST1300).

I use the PR3 as the rear tires on my BMW's including a K1200RS and R1200HP2E.

The MP-3 rides great in all respects - even better than the highly touted Metzlers that came on my BMW K1600 GTL. The only problem is that they are wearing out very fast (as did the Metzlers) and I don't expect more than 4,500 to 5,000 miles out of them based on the wear at 3,000 miles. If this tire could be made to get more mileage it would be perfect.

I have not a lot of miles on it yet, but the ones I have has changed my bike. Great tire I would recommend to everyone. I had the original pilot road on my YZF600R, and got 6 years out of it. Couldn't a lot in Alaska, but put a crap load of miles on it in Kansas. Awesome tire with excellent tread life.

I just replaced a set of Pirelli Angels with the PR3's and noticed a significant improvement in stability and cornering immediately. Only have 150 mi. on them as yet so can't comment on the wet traction (live in the Desert) or mileage as yet but looking forward to finding out how they compare to the Pirelli's. Love'em so far.

I have tried all different brands of tires on my 1200RT. I teach sportbike classes, and every other type motorcycle class. I have put tires through the gammit riding every day as well as twisties and track day activities. These tires have held up better than others by a long shot. I have over 8K on these and I ride heavy. They do run more $ but are more stable at lean angle. Thanks motorcycle superstore.

I will definitely be buying another pair. I put RP3s on a 2010 Ducati Multistrada last year. Today, I have 7500 miles on them and I am only starting to consider another set. The OEM Pireli tires only lasted 5000. I think paying 33% more for a better tire makes sense when I get 50% better mileage. FYI, I check pressures every two weeks or before a trip. I run 38 pounds rear and 33 in front. I ride in the foothills and mountains of Northern California 80% of the time.

I did a lot of research before I decided on this tire. I am not disappointed at all. I would recommend this to anyone out there.
