I have progressed thru various brands and these Pilot 3's are far better in almost every way. I ride Angeles Crest Hwy nearly every day and these tires give me complete control.

Use on both my ST1100/1300; best tire IMO. I've used lots of different tires on the ST1100 with 234,000 mi.

I like these tires a lot more than the pirelli set that came on my bike. Unlike other reviewers, I noticed they DID have a slightly slick coating out of the box, but after a few miles they stick to the road like glue.

I am now running PR3s on both my bikes and they made a huge difference in handling. Set up your suspension properly and get good tires (like these) and get the most out of your bike. You can ride these with confidence in the rain.

I have put many tires on my 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 in the 123k I've put on the clock. These tire are some of the best I've ever ridden. The feedback and feel of the PR3 are second to none. I was even more impressed when I was caught in the rain on some twisties and never had any grip issues. They even have great feel in the wet. The price is on the top for this style tire, but well worth it.

I got 10k on the front tire and the rear looks like it's going to make it to around 15k. I drive a BMW R1100RT, single rider, and mostly commuting on curvy country roads. Very happy with the tire overall, no weaknesses!

Riding over 40 years, PR3 is the best tire I have ridden on. Little over 13,000 miles on them and will replace in the spring. Original tires lasted 3500 miles, not even close. Ran a set of PR2's and they were good but the PR3 is the best tire I have experienceced so far. Can I hear PR4 ??

I was disappointed my Pilot Road 2 rear wore out so soon but when I checked the mileage it had over 12,000. My best previous was 8,000 and worst 6,000. I ride a 1999 R1100RS not very aggressively. Interestingly, the left side is worn down while the right has plenty of tread, but that's typical of my wear pattern on this bike. Anyway a 50% improvement in tread life is a deal clincher for me. Handling wise I've never had a problem, but I never did with any of the Metzlers or Bridgestones either.
