I'm in California and put these tires on before leaving on a 7,500 mile two week ride to NYC and back. Had a lot of slab along the way but also managed to hit my fair share of twisties and these tires held up great! Not only did they last the trip, but when I got home, they had plenty of meat left and lasted many subsequent rides. Oregon, Washington, Nevada...these tires did it all and did it well. Best Sport Touring tires I've ever owned by far. I'm sold, just got my second set.

With 90K on my FJR and only running Metzeler's Z6, I decided to try the 023's. I have 11K on this set. I mostly commute, which is about 1/2 MTN roads & 1/2 FWY's. I am fairly aggressive in the MTN's and drag my pegs quite a bit. For me, these tires feel very comfortable leaned way over and transition nice in the turns. My wet riding is limited to about 1K miles on this set. In the wet, I felt comfortable leaning into corners. For me, these are smoother than the Roadtech Z6.

Bought a front and a rear for my 2006 Ninja 650r and i have now about 12k miles on them and the rear has just reached the wear bar. The front still has about 3-4k miles to go before it will need replacing so i just picked another up here at motorcycle-superstore for $133 you really can not complain for a tire so cheap.

not again

I just ran one of these on a 2011 zx14 and only got 2000 miles out of it. I don’t do burn outs I don’t ride wheelies I ride twisties and ride my bike on highway to work. It sticks well but I won’t buy another because of the miles I get out of it

I've got just about 10,000 on a set of these tires for my '09 ZX-14. I really only commute which is why I got a sport touring tire, and I couldn't be happier. Great tires and I've already got my 2nd set waiting for installation.

I put on 5,000 miles plus on my bike each year and the BT-023 is the tire I trust. It's great.

Do NOT buy this tire! Previously I ran 12 sets of the 020's. Average life was 8,000 miles. Same with the many sets of Michelin PR2 and 3's I've used. With the same tire pressure that I used on the 020's and Michelins the 023 GT(heavy carcass) rear went 3,500 miles and was well into the wear bar. It did not make it to 5,000 miles before it was on the cords. A 1150RT I seen last week also had 5,000 miles, the cords showing. The front 023 looks half worn at 5 k miles.
