D. Gilbert wynnewood,  PA Hard to find sizes are found! 2007 V-Strom (DL650) but I'm an ex-GSX-R750 rider, ex GS750 & ex CB750F(from 1980 to 1986) Those bikes from the 80's all had tire sizes that all the best Manufactures were making tires for. I've ridden Dunlops mostly. The V-strom comes stock with garbage dual purpose tires (I changed them in less than a week) The Pilots, based on reviews, were next. As soon as it gets cold -the warm-up time is too long, pushing in the corners, sliding during breaking; they were tossed in two months. The V-strom is an odd size tire so getting good street sport tires is not easy. These Attack tires are it! Dry, Rain, cornering, stopping power, all around handling is increased. Not to mention the warm-up is very fast even in the winter (a couple of hard breakings will warm them up fast)

Don Blairsville,  PA Back on after Roadsmarts I ran these last year before I tried the RoadSmarts and bought them again this year. I ride a R1100RT, rather aggressively (no chicken strips on the rears) and the roadsmarts were the best tire I've ever ran........for 3000 miles, and then they were shot. These are the second best handling tires I've had on, better than the Z6's, with about the same tread life (6500 and the sides were bald with some tread left in the centers). These stick well all the way to the edge on the tread but are a "stiff" tire in that they don't absorb small bumps. Front feels heavy with resistance to turn-in that builds with speed. Trade-off is great stability and neutrality in the curve. You can one-hand through twisties with confidence! It's nothing to wave to another rider while the pegs are scraping. Tires handle tar snakes, sand, and scattered gravel well. Turn-in feels odd until tires are warm but they warm quickly. Wet traction is good, cold weather (<40 degrees), however, will reduce traction. I've had to dab a foot to pull the front back in at near freezing temps, but that is the ONLY time I've ever felt them slide. Low speed maneuverability, which was a real sore spot with Metzelers, is great with these skins. If you can afford 3000 mile life, buy the Dunlops, you'll love them! These are next best if you don't want to go through 3 sets a season.
