Great tire
Had previously used Metzler's. Their wet weather traction left a lot to be desired. These things are great, wet or dry. Got caught in a rain shower and had to drive about 12 miles on them, so I tested out the wet weather traction. They took a first gear roll on, not a full blast clutch drop, but they accelerated confidently with no slip. Braking and cornering were equally impressive and confidence inspiring. The Metzler's would have been slipping all over the place. I can't speak to the tread life, having only put a couple of hundred miles on them, but tire wear is not as important to me as the traction that they provide. Would definitely buy again.

good tire
Right after i put this on my FZ6, I notice a significant different in handling during turn. It is the tire is glue to the road. I definitely recommend it. I have only owned it for about a month so i don't know how durable the tread is.

Never had new tires
I bought my bike used with old tires that slipped all over the place so compared to those, these feel amazing. The grip is very confidence inspiring and I'm not scared to push it on the curves. I've only ridden them on dry roads but I think they're supposed to be good on the wet side of things also, and being a touring tire, it should have good tread life. Overall, very very pleased and the price was great also.

Great all around tire
I have these tires on front and back of my 07 BMW k1200R Sport. This is the second time I've purchased these tires. The tread life is great, unfortunately I can't remember how many miles I got on them though. I do know that the front tire's tread life was a little shorter than anticipated. If you're like me, (ride 'em till they start showing cord) than you should expect the softer rubber on the outsides to wear down first. This can cause the bike to have a point in the turn where it'll lean harder, due to the middle of the tire protruding slightly further, taking away the perfect hemispherical shape of the tire. Remedy: Don't wait that long to change the tire. :) They are excellent in the rain, and grip the corners with ease on dry pavement. I'm very satisfied with these tires

So far the tire has been performing great. I was glad to find it online here at Motorcycle Superstore. They have the best prices and free delivery, that rocks!!! I will need to order the back tire soon and this is the only place I will do it from now on. At the dealer and other locations they wanted at least $40 bucks more for the same thing. Dunlop - Roadsmart Sport Touring Front Tyre
A superb tire for my 1994 VFR750F, offering faultless grip in the dry and very stable at speed. Unfortunately I cannot comment on tire life as I've only done a hundred miles since fitting, but so far so good and the wet traction?...well, it hardly ever rains here, so I don't know the answer to that one. Other users recommend the tire very highly though, and it tested well in Bike Magazine from Britain. (I am English, hence the spelling of tire...) Cheers!

This is the latest in the Dunlop tire line. The tire has a block style tread that makes it less prone to tracking on rain grooved roads. In turns the tire is very predictable and once you initiate a line you won't have to wrestle the handlebars to keep the front end going where you want it to go. This dual compound tire has seen a lot of wet weather and it's grip will inspire you to lean the bike over in turns regardless if the road is wet or dry. Try a set on your bike!

Sport touring tire
I ride an FJR and in my experience this has been the best tire I have used on this bike. This is the third set of these tires I’ve used and they have been a great tire. They are very quiet throughout the life of the tire, with just incredible wet weather traction. I have on more than occasion drug a peg on wet roads with this tire. This tire has easily gone for 8K miles, with a wide range of riding conditions. If you ride a sport touring bike in all weather conditions then this is the tire for you.

I have rated this tire all 4's but have to admit I only have about 400 miles on it and the rear matching tire purchased at the same time. I have ridden them in wet and dry conditions and they performed well so far. I am optimistic that I'll get at least 7,000 miles on these - haven't been able to get that on the multiple sets purchased prior including both OEM Dunlop and OEM Bridgestone.

Great tire!
I purchased a set of Dunlop Roadsmart tires last September (about a year ago) for m 2000 Suzuki Katana 750 and I am very happy with them. I have put 6500 miles on hem and the front needs replaced but the back still has some tread. I ride everyday in all weather so i get a good sample of wet riding. I am very pleased with these tires and will replace them with more Roadsmarts.

Best tire I ever put on
Hands down this is the best tire I have ever had on a bike. I've owned several sport bikes and I've never had a tire completely transform the bike like the Dunlop road smart. The stability and handling on both wet and dry surfaces are fantastic. I wasn't at all afraid to enter a steep corner and power out at the apex of the turn. Because of the stickyness and shape of the tires, they allow for great handling. I recommend this tire to all my friends.

Dunlop Road Smart
I recently installed a pair on my 95 Triumph Sprint. What a world of difference. I have only had the bike a few months and used to ride a Gold Wing. These tires are smooth riding like a touring tire yet very aggressive and sure-footed while cornering. I also like that they do not over react to your turning and leaning, there is a slight resistance, very reassuring of the grip and traction.

Roadsmart Sport Touring
I've got over 3000 miles on my pair of Dunlop Roadsmart Sport Touring Tires, and I'm very happy with them. My previous tires were the OEM Dunlop D207's on my CBR600F4i and I got a little over 10,000 miles on those tires, for comparison. After 3K on the Roadsmarts, they barely look worn (although they don't look brand new either). I mainly ride during the day in good weather. These tires handle great on dry pavement. I did get caught in a storm once, and they handled confidently on wet pavement, but I didn't push them hard. They pretty much handle the same as my previous D207's, although I have noticed that they don't want to turn themselves as much in tight corners (so, they must be a flatter tire), which is OK with me. All-in-all, I highly recommend these tires and I would buy them again. I'm hoping to get much more than 10K out of these... We'll see...

Impressive
My FJR has worn many shoes. Prior to the Roadsmart I was a fan of the Avon Storm. I put the Dunlop on and headed north to the North Carolina, Tennessee, North Georgia area. Road 2,000 miles in a 4 day trip. Mileage was split nearly 50/50 interstate and mountains, and of course it rained. Temperature varied 74 degrees to 102 degrees. These tires performed outstanding. Most noticeable the front end wobble felt during decel with the Storm disappeared. The tire held its line in rain, at speeds, in corners, tar snakes and any combination I asked of it. The only dink was upon returning the front tire has already begun to show a flat spot from the interstate and appears to be wearing faster than the Storms which I usually get 5,000 out of. But to be honest it is well worth it for the disappearing wobble not to mention the cost benefit as I found the Dunlop to be cheaper in $$$ than the Avon. I have found a new favorite.

Shouldn't have waited so long....
I recently put a pair of Dunlop Roadsmarts on my Kawasaki Z1000 and love them. My only regret is that I pushed the Bridgstones as far as I could before replacing them. I only have 600 miles on the new tires and WOW what a difference!

Roadsmart tread life
I mostly ride highways at 70+ mph on my Versys 650 Twin so tire life is my greatest concern. My stock Dunlops were just a few miles from showing cord at 7K (rear) and 8K (front). But the Roadsmarts now have almost 8500 miles and I expect 2000 more.
I've also done about 500 miles of dirt/gravel roads and they are adequate there. Lowering the tire pressure would probably help considerably.

I have been running Metzler Z6 on my FJR1300 since I bought it about 4 sets ago. Bought the Roadsmarts and am very happy. Rear purchased about 500 before this front. They grip great and I believe have increased my cornering confidence. Don't have an opinion on treadlife as yet.

Dunlop Roadsmart - Will buy again!
I purchased a set of Dunlop Roadsmart tires for my 2004 BMW R1150RT. Previously had a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas...which gave GREAT traction but not the tire life I wanted. Dunlop said they had a good solution, so I gave them a shot. I just got back from putting 2700 miles on these tires in 5 days and the tire looks practically new. (Wear of tire is thus far living up to the dual compound selling feature) In terms of dry traction in corners; no issue whatsoever. Pretty sticky. Wet traction? I will tell you I rode through a severe thunderstorm / small scale tornado with sheets of rain blowing across the road at 60 + MPH; probably ½” of water rushing across the highway and the tires performed exceptionally! I will definitely replace this set with the same as soon as they are ready for retirement.

Dunlap - Roadsmart Sport Touring Front Tire.
I rate this tire a 5 of 5. It sticks to the road like glue.
It has caused me to have so much more confidence in my skills and my Honda ST1300. I can negotiate mountain curves with the best of them now. I am enjoying my bike more now. I had Bridgestones previously and only got about 5,000 miles out of them. I have only put about 900 miles on the Dunlops to date and can't see any sign of serious wear.
I recommend them for any Sport Touring bike.

I have put about 2000 miles on these tires so far and they are working great on my BMW K1200GT. Most of these miles were acquired doing a trip from GA up to the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia. I have rated the tread life a 4 based on a friends comments who has run two sets on his bike.

I had a Metzler Ztec on the front of my 2006 FJR. I heard good news on the Roadsmart, so I gave it a try. Wow it sure made a difference. What I like the most is you can lean the bike into the corner with confidence and the steering feel much tighter, not so loose as with the Metzler.

Dunlop - Roadsmart Sport Touring Front Tire
I've had these on my BMW R1100RT for about three weeks and about 800 miles. The weather hasn't been very good for riding here in SD yet this spring. I'm impressed in the way these tires handle. I almost feel like they do what I'm thinking. I would compare them with the Z-6 Metzlers as far as handling goes. I'm hoping for good wear, we'll see.

First I would like to point out that Dunlop has more World Supperbike Championships than any other tire. With the Roadsmart tires, you can tell why. Exceptional handling in the curves, the tires/handling is so precise. My confidence is probably 200% better than previously. I have not had them long enough to speak on tread life, nor riding in the rain or wet services, I live in California, my bike may never see rain.

Dunlop RoadSmart Tires.
These NEW Dunlop RoadSmart tires have given be the best mileage ever. I have over 150,000 miles of riding a BMW K1200RS. I have never gotten more the 5k to 6k miles on any Dunlop D205 or D207's. When I couldn't get the older D205's I went for the New RoadSmarts. WOW! is all I can say. The first day out after scrubbing them in I had no chicken strips left! That's a first, as these tires just make you feel so good when leaning over. In all conditions they are excellent!
These new RoadSmarts will be my choice tire for a long time to come...

The tire seems to be holding its own. There is a slightly different feel than the originals for my zx14 but overall they're okay. I decided to go with these because 90% of the roads round my area are straight and I mostly use the bike to go back and forth to work.

Was I smart for getting road smarts??
Had the tires on for about a month now. So far so good. Delivery was as advertised. My biggest issue with the stockers on my BMW K-1200s was how fast they wore out! The roads in Florida are almost all flat straight line stuff. Middle portion wears fast. The only real turns we have are the on and off on the interstate. I have read reviews on these tires and hopefully the compound they have will hold up better then the Pirellis I had. Handeling and ride seem are about the same as my originals when new. I will keep you posted on how things go once I get some miles on these babies. Would definitely recommend buying them. Great tire for a great price!!

I'm very pleased with this tire. Huge improvement over the stock OEM D220. Been dragging my toes for the past 9,000 miles and there's lots of wear left. Pretty secure in the rain and feel solid while cornering.

I fitted a set of these after running 5 sets of Metzler m3s which are a good tire. Fitted the roadsmarts on my zx9 and I have only good things to say about them. Front sides chopped out at 6000ks, but that 6000 ks of twisties only .Rear went at 8500 ks but that’s 3500ks better than any other tire I have had. Predictable and for the price and feel that they give I won’t be changing any time soon.

Great tire that costs less than the PR2's
I've had the tire on the front of my C14 for just over 1500 miles and it's the best mod I've made to this bike. It's transformed the handling 100% allowing easier turn-in with much less counter steering effort. The tire holds a line very well in fast sweepers. I was looking at the PR2's as well but this fit better into my budget. I'm hoping I get 7-8,000 miles out of it!

Dunlop Roadsmart Sport Touring Tire
Great tire, the Dunlop has excellent traction and rides smooth at all speeds. It performs very well in corners and provides a better "feel" under braking than the previous Metzler on my mid 90's R series BMW. Very consistent on both wet and dry pavement. I don't know how it will wear; it seems to be a little soft for a touring tire. If the compromise to obtain better traction was achieved with a softer tread compound (and therefore shorter tread life), I'm OK with that trade.

Ultimate sport touring tire
I used this tire to commute to school and back as well as around town and anywhere else. Wet or dry, pavement or concrete these things were sticky and stable. The cornering is amazingly even and allows you to throw even a heavy bike around like my 05 Katana 600 and feel stable on the tires. After 2000 miles I noticed hardly any wear. Great all around sport touring tire.

Transformed the handling on my bike, very linear and predictable. Haven't put enough miles to evaluate mileage but the tires are supposedly designed for higher mileage. Very pleased with feel and handling though especially from my 500lb Yamaha FZ1. Glad I got rid of the (Stones) bridgestones on there.

Firm but good
I like the tire so far. It is firmer than the Pirelli Diablo Strada it replaced causing me to soften the suspension settings on my R1. Looks good on the bike and handles fine.

This review is based on only one ride. Just replaced a worn out Pirelli Scorpion Sync front tire on my Ducati Multisrada with the Dunlop Roadsmart. After the first ride I believe I made an excellent choice. Turn in, grip and straight line stability have all improved. The bike has better stability while braking into a corner as well. I can't give an honest answer on “wet traction” or “tread life” yet so I picked “5” based on previous Dunlop tires I've used. My Pirelli went 10,000 miles so I hope the Dunlop is that good. Initial impressions are great. A great replacement for the Scorpion Sync.

New Roadsmart Tire
We have only ridden on it once, a short ride. New tires are always great compared to old ones and that is true for this one. The only meaningful thing I can say is that when we had it mounted the dealership commented that it was a nice tire and required no balancing weights at all.

Dunlop Roadsmart tires
Cannot say enough good things about this tire! Amazing feel and grip. Only have about 500 miles on both tires and what a difference they make. Was caught in a rainstorm for about 120 miles and never once felt either tire waver. Travelling on the interstate at speeds of 50-70mph and I don't ever recall feeling so well planted and sure footed. Will definitely buy another set of these when the time comes.

I have had them on my 1996 Honda VFR750 for a month now and they have handled perfectly in all riding conditions. I can not comment on the tread life so far (as I have only put 1000 miles on it) but I am hoping for a long run with it.

Wow! sport touring tires that rival pure sport bike tires
I put a set of Roadsmart tires on my 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 after two consecutive sets of Meltzer’s Sportec 6 sport touring tires. What a transformation of the bike's handling for the better! They perform just like the justifiably highly praised but much softer Dunlop Qualifiers that I have on my Honda VFR800. They turn in much better than the Meltzer’s. They grip far better in turns and the ride is much more comfortable. These tires are a quantum improvement over any of the other sport touring tires out there. I haven't had them on long enough to check on their durability so I can't vouch for how long they will last. Otherwise I cannot praise these tires highly enough.

Just Bought
After the Polaris/Suzuki dealer finished the tune up, tires and installing GPS on my bike, I took it out for a spin. The first second I pulled out on the hwy, I thought I was on a different bike! I thought I was on a GXSR 750 the way the bike turned in so easy and was willing to lean over as far as I wanted to go with no effort at all. On the interstate, it felt like I was riding on air but with a lot of grip. It felt so great and the bike handled so well. I'll update the tire later on the mileage part. But so far the tires have made my bike and riding experience far better than I ever expected. Will buy them again!
