Great All-Around Tire

I am very satisfied with this tire and would certainly consider purchasing the exact same thing when these wear down.

Great Tire

I never rate things a 5 just so you know. These tires are very good. I have used them for two sets now. They do wear well, don't go by the PSI rating on your bike, look at the Dunlop site and go off of what they say your PSI should be at.

New Front

After one ride with my new tires I am very happy. Last year I replaced my rear with the same series and knew when the front needed changing I would use the same one. I will never use any other tire but Dunlops

Goes Forever Even With The Occasional Track Day

After putting this on my Ducati ST4-S the first time, I’m ordering another. After 15K miles it could go longer but wear bars are showing. I ride 10K – 14K miles per year including a couple of track days each season (no chicken stripes at the end of the session!). Surprised how sticky it got after a few laps. Great all the way around.

Second one and loving it

Got nearly 11k miles out of my first front Dunlop Roadsmart and was so impressed I just bought a second. Great tire for the BMW RT.

Great tire but goes away fast.

I read reports that these tires should go 8000 miles. I got less than 3500 miles and the sides are shot. Of course I only ride for fun in the mountains of SoCal so the bike is cornering a lot more than if on the freeway commuting. BTW, I have a 1990 Yamaha FJ1200 with a 17" rear wheel mod.

R1150RT Dunlop RoadSmart

So far I am very happy. Rode all day in the rain in the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, including the infamous "Tail of the Dragon". The bike felt stable, braked well and cornered perfectly, despite the wet pavement. Cannot comment on life, but 2500 miles later, the tire only shows slight wear. Should go 10,000 plus (I hope).

Dunlop Road Smart

Only 7k on front tire. Told local PD uses these as well due to being a perfect match to local road conditions. Tread looks fine one day then goes away fast, so check often. Front left side rubber is completely gone, center line looks fine, right side looks nearly untouched. The back tire looks like new. Grip, stability, smooth ride, and wet traction was especially good. Worth every penny for the 7,000 great miles it gave me.

Good for longer tread life applications

The tire is actually a 5 out of 5 bearing in mind what it is. I rated it down one star because it just doesn't quite inspire the confidence of a full sport tire. I've only got 500 miles on the tire so not sure about tread life yet.

Roadsmarts

Quieter and smoother but not as inspiring in the corners as my Pilot Road 2's. Have not had them long enough to rate tread life.
