Steve Auburn,  WA BT021 tire review I really like these tires on my 98 VFR, they handle very well in the wet, they grip decent and they give plenty of notice before they slide out from underneath you. They don't grip as well as the BT016s but they also last much longer. My only complaint is that the front wears out much quicker than the rear, but I still got around 8k out of it so I consider that pretty decent. The rear still has plenty of tread left so hopefully they will wear out pretty close to the same time. One other thing I noticed was that they are VERY sensitive to the tire pressure. On most of my bikes, I normally run 4 pounds under the 36\42 but these didn't like the lower pressure at all so I bumped it back up to the 36\42 and all is good.

Lorren Mechanicsville,  MD Great Tire I know it’s a sport touring oriented tire, but it handles so well you forget. It grips the road like crazy and even with aggressive riding it only slipped in the rain a couple of times. The downside is tread life. It doesn't last nearly as long as the rear. You may go through 2-3 fronts before the rear. Other than that buy it!!

Vanus W Los Banos,  CA Wow!!! What a great tire!! I put a set of these tires (front/rear) on my 06 GSXR 600 and rode from CA to Deal's Gap. Spent a week there and never felt them slip once. I did notice the turn in was a bit slower, but I expected that from a ST tire. Got caught in 3 T-storms on the way back and they performed flawlessly. Rode over 6000 miles in 17 days and by the time I returned home, the rear was just beginning to get a flat spot in the center, mostly because I made it back in a little over 40 hours and was slabbing it the whole way! You will not be disappointed with these if you are looking for something that will perform well and give you great mileage. I should get 10000 miles or more out of the rear.

ZX6 Kingston,  NY Incredible quality at an affordable price Previously had BT045's on my ZX6 and the treadlife was mediocre. The BT021 have incredible traction around corners while still maintaining great resistance to wear on the crown. Only issue I’ve had is with quick stopping. The centers have a higher durometer rating which can cause a bit of a skid under hard braking. Pro's outweigh the con's on this tire.

Dustin langley,  BC BT021 tires HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I ride a 2002 CBR 954RR with BT021 on front and rear. This is the second one of these front tires that I have used, and I won't be using any other tire again. The traction is incredible, and the mileage is absolutely fantastic. I rode more than 12,000 miles on my first one, and it held up very well. It barely showed any wear after a 3000 mile trip that took us down the west coast, from Vancouver, BC, to San Fransisco, east to Yosemite Park, and north to Reno, and back to BC. I had to give it a 4/5 on wet traction because I don't have enough wet experience with it to give it a 5. I am 100% satisfied with this product, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. You won't be disappointed with this tire!

Mike Milpitas,  CA My first set of tires I bought the bike with M3's that had been used for commuting and I they had about 6k miles on them when I finished with them. These were much better and seem to have good grip once warn in. I don't have much experience so I don't know useful my opinion is but they are great for commuting.

Carl Washougal,  WA Great handling tire - front tire wear lacking I had the BT20 and loved them. When I tried the BT21, I found them to handle similar to the BT20's on my ST1100. I am not very impressed with the tire wear on the front. I am used to going through 2 rears for every front. With the BT21's, the front is smooth from cornering in 3400 miles and the rear still has 60% tread. Previous BT20's got about 7000 miles for the pair. Considering a different tire, but I am not reading about anything better that will fit the ST1100's --- Metzler Z6, and Avon AV55/56 are the only options.

Bob Jaap Duvall,  WA BT-021 Bought a set of BT-021s for a cross country trip. Front tire was doing great up until about 6K miles. Then it cupped badly causing the front end to shake when braking. Tire now has 7630 miles on it and I'll be replacing it very soon. The rear tire needed replacing at 6300 miles. It squared off badly and was down to the wear bars. In a straight line or sweeping corners they were pretty good in the wet, but once the turns got tighter the rear kicked out on me a few times on those nasty tar snakes.

Russ Rogers North Augusta,  SC Excellent tire for BMW R1100RT I have had the BT-021 front and rear on for about a month, and have put about 2000 miles on the set. The front is showing a little wear on the sides from hard cornering, but the "RT" is hard on the front tire and it will be interesting to see what mileage I get out of the Bridgestone. I have been very pleased with the ride and gripping ability of the tire. They are great in wet or dry conditions.

E.Scotty henderson,  NV Smooth I live in the desert, so no rain to try out the grip, but lots of HEAT in the summer! I replaced the front tire w/BT 021, better choice for the front, I have 7k on them and they still look great. Great grip in the twisties 1/8 in chicken strip.

Erik San Diego,  CA Excellent tires I ride 30 miles round trip everyday (mon-fri) to work and I beat on these tires. Been riding for 5 years...I've got them on my gsxr 1000 and got 11,200 miles out of the first set. They heat up nicely and handle magnificant in the corners. If you want a tire that has excellent grip, and insane tread life, look no further than the 021's.

bruce aliso viejo,  CA bt021 front tire Put on the bt021 front about a month ago, seems to ride a bit smoother than the Dunlop d208 sportmax that was on before. I’m a beginner, so take it for what it's worth... I’m just learning to lean and corner the bike and feel no difference between the Dunlop and the bt021 (which is suppose to be a sport/touring tire). Right now the front and back are mix matched, still have tread and the rear Dunlop... I know bad idea, but I’m a beginner and I’m not leaning or going as fast as the more experienced riders. I intend to replace the rear with the matching bt021.

Steven Riggle Walla Walla,  WA BT-021 front vs D-205 front. I've tried several different front tires & none have compared well with the D-205 front, until now. I ride an ST1100 & love the corners. Expect a tire that sticks on any road surface, wet or dry. Until mounting the BT-021, I hadn't found a tire that was as confident & responsive as the D-205. The BT-021 is every bit as confident & responsive, & it gives a much smoother ride. It seems to do well on wet roads, but I haven't had time to fully test it yet. I'm used to getting 9-12K from a front tire, so only time & miles will tell how well it holds up. I'm very impressed so far.
