Battlewings
I've had five sets of these on the DL650 over the years. This goes to prove that for the money this seems to be the best all around tire for my application. I've rarely gotten more than 6k out a rear tire but that might be attributed to my riding style. Good tire on road but I wouldn't venture too far off the packed/paved surfaces.

Excellent touring rubber
Just got back from a 5034 mile trip back east and had spooned on a pair of these (front and back) in the hopes that I wouldn't be down to the cord when I got back home... There's better than half the tread left in the center of the tire! Superslab miles, averaged about 75mph across the country on I-80/90... All I might ask of this tire is a more rounded profile: since the Strom was fully loaded I didn't lean it over too far in the corners but I noticed that the chicken strips are pretty much not there, making me think that I'll run out of tire before I scrape pegs if I'm really trying to heat things up.
Perfect long lasting touring tire, cheaper than the Metzler.

bang for the buck
At this price point, it's an ok dual-sport tire. Doesn't do anything well, but does everything. Coming from a Trail Attack, there is less traction and feel, but it's a good commuter bike tire.

Good Tire
This is just the second tire on my Wee-Strom. This tire is a huge improvement over the stock Trailwing. Great cornering, stability and dry traction. I only have 1500 miles on them so do not know about tread life. Have not had them in the rain yet. Good tire. I had 11,000 miles on the stock tires and hope to get more from these, but too early to tell. Motorcycle Superstore was great and fast.

Replacing TWs on my DL650
Hard to know if the increased traction and stability is from this tire or other modifications on my bike. But I like it. Sticky and very stable in the extreme twisties. I haven't spent much time on the slab, though, as the roads here are either twisty or even twistier.

Battle Wing
Battle Wing's came standard on my 07 GSA. The previous owner had taken them off when new. I bought the bike they were given to me. When it became time for new tires I re-installed the Battle Wing's. WHAT a nice tire! Although a more highway tread they have worked well in hard packed gravel and dry dirt. The front was a little squirrelly in loose rock but because of the road handling I will buy another set when these are done. I will get two rear tires to one front, about the same as other tires I have used.

Bridgestone Battle Wing Rear Tire
I bought a set of Battle Wings for my V Strom last summer and they were much better that the Trail Wings that came on the V Strom. I just replaced the rear B/W after 7000 miles, the front still looked good so I didn't replace it. The B/W is a good tire for the V Strom, the B/W does well on gravel, dry trails, interstate, and curves.

Beats the Trailwing hands down
This is my 2nd rear Battlewing, I also have one on the front. The OEM tires on my Zuk DL650 were Bridgestone Trailwings. The BW's are much better on the street, they seem to stick better, giving me more confidence in corners and they last longer too. My 1st one, I got a big nail in it after a few hundred miles (new tires are nail magnets) I pulled the nail and plugged it, it lasted another 9000 miles before it started leaking again, so I replaced it. I still had a 1/8" of tread on it. My original TW's were bald in the middle at 9000 and were slippery in the corners after about 6000. Also Motorcycle Superstore had the best delivered price both times and fast shipping.

Bridgestone Battle Wing Tire
I have a 08 BMW R1200GS and it came with a set of Bridgestone Battle Wing. As of now I have 10500 miles on the clock ad there is still rubber left on the rear tire for probably another 1000 miles. The front tire has still about 30% treat left.
I live in the mountains and like to ride a good clip in all those twisties and tight corners. It’s the first set of Battle Wings I have ever experienced and this tire performs and handles and most importantly has an excellent life span. Consequently I ordered already another set of Battle Wings which I will be mounting soon.
This is really a great tire and the price at the Motorcycle Superstore is very competitive compared to similar tires.
I definitely highly recommend this tire.

Bridgestone - Battle Wing Rear Tire
I ran my first stock tire on my V-Strom bald and installed the battle wing. The stability and traction is noticeably better. The delivery speed from Motorcycle Superstore was AMAZING! The price was right too. I will buy there again!

Bridgestone Battlewing Tire
I just purchased the Battle wing for my BMW 1150 Adventure thinking that it might provide a little better road/dirt ratio than the Tourance as I do a more than average amount of dirt roads. The Battle wing did not let me down, I just returned from a 300 mile ride with over 100 miles on dirt in the mountains of SW Virginia and indeed this tire I found to be better off road than the Tourance and an added bonus is that I find it superior on the road as well!! I ride a lot of mountain roads and the sidewall on the Battle wing feels a little stiffer and feels more solid than the Tourance. I am very pleased with the Bridgestone and the service from the Motorcycle Superstore.
