The michilin anikee's are the all time best tire, the sileca in them makes great traction and wear especially in wet conditions, but I decided to try something new and even save some money, these bridestones are really great, I’m gaining confidence in them all the time..Your company's customer service is excellent I'll be buying from you again.

Guy victor,  ID Great touring tire Got the tire to carry me to the east coast and back, 5000+ miles round trip. It didn't fail to satisfy for the tour, but I'd like to see a bit more rounded profile for riding canyons; it looks like I'll run out of tire profile before the pegs scrape if I really put the heat to it. The only bad thing I can say about this tire is the wet traction isn't the greatest: A gentle corner at highway speeds in a bit of rain on concrete led to a pucker* moment. I've tried Michelin, Avon, Pirelli, Maxxis, and Bridgestone. I'll buy the Battleaxe again.

Jerry Hermiston,  OR Good tire This is just my second tire for my Wee-Strom. Huge improvement over stock Trailwing. Great cornering, stability and traction. I only have 1500 miles on them, so cannot tell about tread life. I had 11,000 miles on the stock tires and it appears that I should do the same or better, but it is too early to tell.

Mark Slafkes Fort Bragg,  CA Battlewing on my DL650 It's hard to know if it's the new rubber replacing the four year old Trailwings or what. But this tire is nice and sticky and seems to work a bit better than the TWs.

Anthony N Stockton,  CA Battlewing I gave this tire all 4s seeing as how I'm no pro and can't push it to find out if it deserves 5s. I'm very happy with the tire; I bought it for my 2005 DL650. Don't know about the tread life so that also received a 4, but I've heard good things. I also used Superstore’s preferred installer and that turned out great.
