Great Tire
So far I really like this tire but I've only ridden on it for about 1000 miles so it’s too early to tell how long it will last.

Dunlop Elite 3
Have not put enough miles to honestly rate this tire but if it is as good as the Elite 2 it replaced I am sure to be very happy with it.

Elite 3 tire
Installed just previous to Sturgis...rode about 2500 miles with no issues. Handling seems normal, no rain, so far so good.

Good in the rain? NOT!
I am suprised at the reviews that say this is a good rain tire. Although I like the feel on dry pavement, my experience with them on wet pavement and tar snakes is not good. I just came back from a trip through the South, and had several bouts of severe sliding of both tires, especially on wet tar snakes. In one case, with steady throttle, in a straight line, the whole bike (Goldwing 1800) slid and shook so violently that I thought I was going down. I am switching back to the Avon's, as soon as I change my underwear!

I had Elite II before and this tire exceeds it in every way I am very happy with it.

E3 frt
After 4500 miles in 10 days these tires seem to be wearing very well. Tar snakes tend to throw them a curve when you are leaned over a little more than the old 491s, but on good roads these are great. A couple hundred miles of rain did not seam to faze them at all. I expect when the gl1100I need tires again these will be my choice.

After putting it on I road it in the rain has great traction on wet pavement. Was very impressed with it. Tread life I don't know but it does have a good rating.

after about 1500 miles these tires handle great and are not showing any wear yet will buy E3s again.
