K177 Dunlop Front and Rear
I am very satisfied with these tires. I am running them on a 2000 Goldwing. I got 15000 miles out of the front and could have gotten another 2k if I had pushed it. I lean toward safety so it got changed. I have a new rear K177 awaiting replacement time. As of right now, the rear has 20k miles and from all outward appearances, will make another 5k with ease. I don't understand what else could be asked for in a motorcycle tire.

Dunlop K177
I have an E3 on the front of my GL1500, as that is what I could get from local dealer. I understand it has a bit better tread life. It rides hard with a bit of a bounce. On the other hand the K177 on the rear is nice and smooth. I like the tread pattern on the K177 and the 491 that is very similar. To me feels good even on wet roadways.
