Ulysses Tire, good but on the road only
I think it’s a great tire on the road. Unfortunately if you take the Ulysses off road or on sandy, rocky fire breaks of primitive roads they done last. I don’t think mine will make it to 9K.

Good Wear-Excellent price
Put a set of Sync's on my '04 Buell XB12R. Got over 6k out of the rear and the front is still going. I commute 140 miles a day, but still love to get on it when I find some twisties. Cornering is very smooth and stable. This summer has been wetter than usual and I've ridden in some pretty heavy rain and stability in the rain is great, not a twitch. Much better than the stock Dunlop D208's which were lasting only 2500-3000 miles. Superstore service is great and I'll be returning for more very soon.

Pirelli - Scorpion Sync Rear Tire
What can I say but 12,000 miles!! That's right. My last Pirelli - Scorpion Sync Rear Tire lasted me 12000 miles on a torque monster: Buell 1200cc. Great heanling, very progressive lean in, the best tire I ever used.

Pay A Little More, Get More
Simply put: a strong, long lasting tire! A little higher in price than other tires in the same league, but by my experience Pirelli's reliability and durability is unmatched; a true case of you get what you pay for. I've tried other tires, even the newer dual-compound stuff, but always came back to scorpion sync's on a BMW 12GS, Ducati Multistrada, and currently on a Triumph Tiger 1050. Outstanding wet and dry grip, very smooth, and even wearing assuming your tire balancing is correct. The pitch of the front tire allows for quicker response in the twisties as well - far more responsive than Pilot Roads.

Scorpion Sync Rear
I'll have to say that the tire is a great fix with the right features for the demands of an off terrain bike like my Buell, Ulysses. My bike came with Sync tires, My rear took a leak from my gravel road, unsure on the cause but could have been about anything found on a gravel road, so I’d really like to know its true "tread life"? I got about 3400mi before the leak. Regarding, Motorcycle Superstore, Buy from them!!! Best prices I could find anywhere and their service, perfect!!! Order to door was less than 4 days. Just ordered a front from them as well and ditto. Same service. Thanks gang

Pirelly Scorpion Synch
A wonderful tire with poor durability, at least as far as my bike (BMW R1200R) is concerned. Mounted them for a 2,300 miles trip to the Big Bend and the rear is almost finished. Wonderful wet weather and dry tire but as mentioned above wears very quickly.

Great tire for sporty standard
Got the tire just in time to mount for a track day at Mid Ohio, where the syncs performed perfectly, all the way to the point where I was dragging a knee and scraping pegs (which on a XB9SX is getting ***way*** over) with no slipping and no drama. Smooth and predictable lean, plenty of stick for any kind of rational street riding, enough grip to keep up with the "fast novice" guys on a track day. And to top it off, they don't go all wobbly kneed if you are in gravel or wet grass. I get at least 9k miles out of a front, and at leaast 6k out of a rear, with hard street use and one track day. A fantastic pick for a tire for rationally powered sporty standard bike (i.e. Buell XBS, Ulysses, XT, Multistrada, SV, Hypermotard, etc). I wish it were cheaper, that’s a lot of money for just one tire, but it is very competitively priced relative to tires that are far worse.
