good tire
This is a good tire but the tread life can be better I have a gsxr 1000 and it eat tires like fat kids eat cakes , the P.P. ct2 is the only one so for that can take the power that the bike puts down . But at the right price I will by this tire again.

Metzler-Sportec M3 Rear
I previously owned the Metzler Sportec M1 for my 1994 Honda CBR1000F. I couldn't find the M1's, so I got the M3's instead. Had them mounted (front and back) and went on a trip to Marietta Ohio. Three days of riding in rolling hills of Ohio and West Virginia. The tires were great. Stuck like glue. I definite improvement from the M1's. I highly recommend these tires to anyone.

Metzeler Sportec M3 Rear tire
Bought this to replace the OEM (same tire on a Triumph Speed Triple) after I caught a nail. Can't really say much about tread life. Original only had 1150 miles before the flat. So far, I find the M3 runs better a little under recommended pressure on street. Get it just right and it's like you're on rails. Too much air and the front gets really squirrely and the rear steps out in a corner. I also like these on track. Heat up quickly and don't shred too fast to go back to street use.

Metzeler M3 Rear
I got 8k miles out of the M3 rear that came on my bike from previous owner, I went with the same again and I love it. I've been on other bikes with Michelin 2CT's, Dunlops, SuperCorsa, these are all around best tire I’ve rode. I’m not scared to get caught in the rain with it, and these things hook about the best any street tire can on dry pavement. Great in corners, I find myself pushing each corner harder and harder to get to the chicken strips. Will defiantly be putting another set of M3's on my bike next time they need changed.

Metzeler M3
Bought this tire for my 2004 R6, seems to be holding up just fine, have about 1000 miles on her. Holds the road very nicely, haven't had any grip problems. One kinda neat thing is that on the sidewall almost to the edge of the tire there are little running elephants hahahahh...gives you something to talk about when you’re just standing around lol. The ladies think they are cute, which is always a plus.

Love em!
Put these on my 98 Katana last October, replaced the aged, original Batlax on the bike that was chock full of surprises! The M3's were just such a huge confidence booster I cannot even begin to describe it. If you have ever ridden on an old tire you will understand. M3's stick like glue, I get enough lean on them to rub the feet off the elephants and had no loss in traction. Had them up to 140 mph and I'm still here. Have over 3,000 miles on them and would guesstimate wear at a little over half way mark. I see a lot of negative remarks in wear category. These tires will get you home alive after very "spirited" riding. Show me a car tire that can do the same things we ask from a bike tire!

Great Tire
I ride an 02 919, this is my second M3 rear tire (had a nail in the first) I love this tire! I have leaned it all the way over, and it feels solid every time! I was recently caught in the rain with the tire so I leaned on it a little bit, and added some straight line acceleration which it handled very well, even on wet, slick asphalt! Very impressed! Tire wear is pretty acceptable for such a soft tire! Can't wait to put a set on the wife's 919!

Good for riding bad for distance
When I bought these my expectations were very high because my battlax tires were my first set on my bike and I loved those tires even though people said they were crap so when I had these installed I knew they were going to be a good upgrade to what I had and they are sticky on dry ground I was popping wheelies left and right and I got a busa but I also ride a lot. I put 6000 miles on my battlax tires and they still had a lil bit of tread left and almost made it through 2 season these barely made it through one season and I put 6500 but overall I was very satisfied I would buy them again now that I know the wear and tear of the tire.

sport tech m3
I have found the m3 to be a great all around tire. Grip ,feel and especially wear have been excellent. I am on my 1st front and just put on my 2nd rear at 7,000 miles. With 1 track day to boot.

amazing piece of rubber
I’ve run dunlop and perelli tires before but I really like that fact that over all the other ones the metzlers have really fast warm-up time for a street tire and they are extremely sticky wont review the wet traction because well I live in the desert and it doesn’t really rain but I plan on buying this tire again def semper fi

Great price on tires
This is a really good tire and MSS has a great price for it. I saved a lot of money. My order arrived really fast and I was able to have it put on at my local motor cycle dealer. Very pleased w/it.

Metzler, The Unsung Hero
I live in Tucson AZ, and the heat out here just wipes out a Dunlop's and other soft tires. I can never find Metzlers out here. With Motorcycle Superstore shipping the tires to me and Musselman's Honda of Tucson charging me only $20 to balance and mount, I don't think I'll ever pay a local dealers outrageous price for just the tire again. Metzlar's definitely last longer than anything else out here in the desert, and give great "Monsoon"(wet) traction. Also after the rain, when the corners are full of dirt and gravel, they still give a reassuring ride. Here's to all you riders,"Keep the rubber side down!!!"

Great buy
I upgraded to the M3 after riding on 2 sets of M1 tires. I have to say they are great. I feel very comfortable digging even harder into the corners and love the tire on wet roads. I think the M3 handles better wet and dry than the M1 and for the price you can’t beat it. I’m giving mediocre tread life as I’ve only had the M3 on now for about 300 miles.

If only they lasted as good as they performed
This tire has been amazing to own the past 2 months. Put some fun miles on them and never once felt like it was in any way going to give on me. Only down side is the lifespan. Already time for a new back tire!

Best upgrade you can do for a Ninja 500
So, I ride a Ninja 500 and these Metzelers are absolutely inspiring. Cornering at full lean in the cold still grips a lot. Needless to say when it's warm, it grips like no other. A competitive alternative would have to be the Michelin Pilot Powers. When it’s warm, press onto the tire with your finger and it sticks. Confident turn in and power out. On the freeway it is stable, swallows up bumps well and also very smooth on Los Angeles freeways (really rough concrete).

Pretty good Tire
I have put about 600 miles on a new set front and rear of these M3's on my zx1100. So far they have exceeded my expectations however I have not ridden in rain yet so it is hard to say what wet traction is going to be like. I can already see some wear on the rear tire, however that doesn't surprise me as the tire it replaced - a Michelin Pilot only lasted 4,500 miles. So far this has been the best set of tires I have put on the bike. These are leaps and bounds better than the Dunlops and I feel better than the Michelin Pilots I put on after that.

Mostly happy with the tire
Disappointed that I have worn them out in about 4200 miles, but that is more than a thousand miles more than what I got out of PP, and PP2CT's- so from that perspective they were awesome. Traction was always good, and I was extremely happy with them-other than I think a good sticky sportbike tire should be able to last about 6000 miles.

Amazing tire
This is the only tire I use for my bike!!! Last week I took my ZX6RR out on the track... not only did my tires warm up in the first 2 laps... by the 6th lap they were breaking down and became extremely tacky (sticky). My tires gave me more confidence to travel around the track faster because I knew I was going to stick every corner and hit every apex.... no slips.. No slides.. It was like I was riding on fly paper.

metzeler sportec m3 rear tire "200/50/17
Im a ZZR1200 owner. this tire at this size made a big difference in cornering in all conditions. This tire can be trusted. Could last a little longer. i get 4000 miles out of it with a big bike.

Better than the other tires I've run
I own a zzr600, have tried PP's, PP2CT's, and qualifiers, the metzelers were atleast as good as any of them, and the best feature was, even when I wore out the Metzeler, it was the same profile and shape. (not flat across the center of the tread). I do alot of faster riding on wisconsin alphabet roads (twisties) but it is a 70 mile ride to get to them, and about 140 mile road home at the end of the day, so about 1/2 the miles are straight up and 1/2 are riding the 'fun" areas. My rear showed significant wear at 4,294 miles, 5 miles later I had some metal showing. So I am very disappointed in the tread life, but it is more miles than I got out of anyone elses tires on this bike. I ordered another rear, and will run the front one more time. I am going to try the bt016's next, and if they arent any better. I will stick with the metzelers, I enjoyed them and they worked great. I was disappointed in the tread life...which is so 'rider dependant" on any bike, but really--how hard can it be to make a 'sticky" tire with good rain and dry characteristics, that lasts more than 5000 miles?

Great Tire
I love this tire. I feel great at all angles on it. I ride a TLR and this thing puts the power to the road. My only complaint about this tire is the mileage. I have a 60 mile commute round trip to work and it's on straight road. So the center has worn out quick on the rear. For those who love the cornering, this is a great tire for it

Best Tire Around
When I bought my bike it came with bridgestones, after less than a season they were toast so i picked up a pair on Metzelers. They are the best tires that I’ve had on it and that i'll ever put on it. They wear well, have great grip, and are smooth, they're a little slippery in the rain but all around a great tire.
