Travis Larson Oak Creek,  WI Amazing tire, Only 70 miles I cant stop smiling I got this tire mounted on my motorcycle today, which is July 01, 2008. I own a 1999 Yamaha R6 with a dynojet kit, a 520 conversion, and a bunch of other cool stuff :) I originally had a Michelin Pilot Road, and I rode it for about 2000 miles and it kinda disintegrated... So I needed a new tire. It was gonna go with what I had, or try this Metzeler. My R6 handles like a DREAM. I rode it 70 miles today, and to be honest they say 100 before you can open it up, I think about 25 miles into some good subdivision riding I ended up feeling like I wanted to get out on the roads. It's a NIGHT AND DAY difference between my Michelin and this. I use a 190/50/ZR17 and it's going to be the new front tire I put on it this Thursday. A true dream tire - and it's extremely stable at high speeds.

William Dover,  PA Great Tire I've used every major brand of tire and these are the best. A good street compound with excellent wear characteristics. Hands down the best rain tire.

RPM2DAY Elk Grove,  CA Sportec M-3 on 2005 R-1 Like one of the other reviewers, I started with a set of M-1's and loved them. I put the M-3's on and noticed quicker warm-up and almost always perfect traction. They are light tires and seem well suited to the R-1. I do a lot of fast riding in the foothills and they are holding up slightly better than the M-1's and are much better overall than the stock BT-01's that came with the bike. A great tire at a great price!

R. Charles Bronx,  NY Great all round weather tire I started out with the M1, LOVED them, the only problem was mileage. Then comes the M3. Great in the rain, excellent grip in cold weather. ( under 30 degrees ) The mileage on the M3 are way better than the M1 without sacrifice to handling. I ride the FZ1 1000 02 Yamaha. The stopping power with M3 tires is EXCELLENT. The price compared to other brands, you can't beat them.

John Kennesaw,  GA Metzeler Sportec M3 Supersport Rear This tire sticks like glue to the pavement. Tons of grip. Great performance. Not very good mileage at all though. If you are looking for good mileage, look elsewhere. If you are looking for performance, this tire is great.

Bluepepper Houston,  TX Metzler Sportec M3 Great tires! Significant improvement over the stock Dunlops. I wish they would last longer than 6500 miles. Will consider another brand next time to get more mileage if this one does not last longer. Motorcycle Superstore had the best deal and keeps me coming back.
