So far, so good. Tire grips the road like glue...even handles well in the rain.

as good as anything I've tried
I have over 25,000 miles on the bike and have ridden on at least 8 different tires. I have liked the Metz M3's better than any of the others, and they have lasted the best (of the "sticky" tires) about 4000-4200 miles is what I get out of the rear, and the fronts are about 2/3 used up-but I am switching them as pairs. Just for reference. I am riding an 07 zzr600, and go to the Wisconsin alphabet roads almost every weekend, plus regular riding as well.

Metzler-Sportec M3 Front
I previously owned the Metzler Sportec M1 for my 1994 Honda CBR1000F. I couldn't find the M1's, so I got the M3's instead. Had them mounted (front and back) and went on a trip to Marietta Ohio. Three days of riding in rolling hills of Ohio and West Virginia. The tires were great. Stuck like glue. I definite improvement from the M1's. I highly recommend these tires to anyone.

Blows last front tire away. Good grip, good price, good quality. Cannot comment on wet traction/tread life.

Excellent tire for fast corner carving
Obviously with this tire being a supersport tire you're gonna get excellent handling and grip from this tire. Only downside is the tread life... I got about 5K from the front and about 4K from the rear. The handling is very good, not too jumpy and not too slow. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to go an extremely spirited ride. Not responsible for possible speeding tickets :-)

Try'em You'll Like'em
I ride a Yamaha FZ1. I've had the M3's on the track, in the twisties, and in the rain. Great tire, I've been through 6 sets so far, I have no complaints and no reason to switch. I tried Bridgestones BT20 and BT21, Pilot Roads, and Continental Road Attacks. Metzler M3's are the best so far. I like spirited riding...and I've learned to trust these tires.

Much better than Dunlop!
I put the Mezler M3's on the front and back of my ZX1100 about 600 miles ago. They replaced a very worn out Dunlop front tire and Michelin rear. So far these tires have exceeded my expectations in all areas. I can nearly lay the bike over in the corners and not be nervous. I was not able to do this before with the Dunlop front tire. I am starting to see wear on the rear tire already, however the Michelin it replaced only lasted 4,500 miles as well.

Great tires - very sure footed. Can't comment on wet traction - haven't put them to the test. I've only got about 900 miles on them, but, so far, they're wearing well. I'm hard on tires - I only got 2100 miles out of my last set of BT-016. Hoping for better from the Metzlers.

Second season
These are nice tires! I was pleased with how I could set my line into a turn and they would stick to it like my bike was on rails. I've already recommended these to friends. Not sure about ware. I'm not an aggressive rider so I'll probably get three seasons out of them (about 6K miles)

my first set from stock
Did a lot of looking and went with this one, my old stock tires were horrible. My bike is a Katana and is my first street bike and did not have a lot to go on with info on what a good or bad tire is but this set and my old are night and day.

After riding on this tire for around 200 miles, in colder weather it seems like night and day in comparison to the OEM Bridgestone’s. Cornering is more predictable, stable, and the tire really pulls the bike into the corner. I haven't had a really warm day yet to really lay the bike down to the end of the tire, but I expect it to stay connected to the road and remain stable. I haven't ridden on it for more than 200 miles as of yet, so I cannot vouch for the tread life or wet traction. I would recommend this tire and will continue to buy these tires

Great all around tire
I think I have finally found a tire that I can afford, and is great for someone who is like me , rides my bike to and from work and needs something that will last , and something that performs when I go ripp it up on the weekends. This tire is the best of both worlds for sure.. I do recommend running a matching set.

I am please with the tires; I travel 110 miles one way daily, and getting great performance with them. I would recommend these tires to others. For mileage getting about 6000 or 7000 on the rear tire and 1200 to 1300 on the front.

Excellent gripping sports bike tires
I've only put about 100 miles on these tires, so I don't have an opinion on tread life, but I can tell you these were great to break in. Were not slippery AT ALL during the break-in, unlike most new tires. Corner great, really stick to the road.

Pretty Good...
The tires have pretty good tread wear... they last longer than the "Pilot Powers", and to me, the M3's perform better too. But that’s my opinion. I have some experienced riders agree with me and some that don't. Overall, they cost 10 bucks more then Pilot Powers, and definitely provide better tread wear. -The bottom/side panels are not detachable like many other models, so we couldn't even try it with those out.

Metzeler Sportec M3 Supersport
I put these tires on my 1998 Honda CBR 900 RR. I was instantly amazed by the way the bike handled and turned in with these tires. I've been running Bridgestone’s for years because they were the factory recommended tire. I ride the bike at 4 different race tracks in northern California and many riders I talk to at the tracks have told me to change my tire choice. Well, I finally did and the bike feels like a brand new machine. I just can't tell you how well the bike turns in with such confidence and holds a straight line perfectly well. I've been in almost every condition except rain. The tires haven't missed a step. I've been recommending to all my friends who are looking for tires.

Metzeler Sportec M3
After scuffing the tire (break-in), it gives great feedback from the road. It does not have a loose feel. It also sticks in the corners very well without a feeling of it trying to upright you. My bike transitions in and out of corners easily with these tires. Even on wet roads, with some discretion, my bike does not have a loose feeling. These tires perform well in all temperatures and they warm up quick. I have been using these tires for two years on both of my sport bikes. Yes, I use all of the tire, no chicken strips. Awesome street tires!

Very pleased with the performance. Grip is very good. Break-in was fast, with more grip the first ride than I've had with any other tire. Too soon to judge tire wear, but the handling confidence is high. Would definitely recommend.

Metzeler Sportec M3
I purchased these Metzeler tires just to try something new, and for their reasonable value. I'd previously only run Dunlops and Bridgestones on my Ducati Monster, and I'd never been completely satisfied with either. After one 400 mile Sunday, I'm already sold, and I can't wait for the next ride. This is just an average rider's opinion, and I can't really tell you why other than the way these tires felt. The grip was outstanding, they warmed up quickly, and for whatever reason, I'm getting much better feedback from the frontend. It'll be a while yet before I can judge their longevity, but so far I'm very pleased.

I purchased the same style tires last fall & put about 500 miles on them so far. Thus far I am pleased with the tires but can not yet comment on durability, they do seem to be holding up pretty good, my recent tire purchase was to have a spare set, so I have not removed them from their packaging yet.

I've been riding for 35 yrs and have been using Metzeler tires for 20+. These tires hook up great, inspire you to throw it in the corner faster and give you confidence coming out rolling on the gas. I’m not sure about mileage yet, I've got 3000 on a 99 blackbird so far. Metzeler's kick butt!!

Metzeler - Sportec M3
Metzeler tires (front or back) are the best tires in the world for the street sportbike. I am sure they'd perform just as well on the track but cost would prohibit such a thing. Even though the M3's have lasted me up to 4k miles (heavy duty, insane riding). I wouldn't trust my life to any other tire. I switched from a more expensive tire to the Metzelers and I have no regrets. Its performance and durability is unmatched. Additionally, the best place (don't even bother looking) to get a Metzeler tire is at the Motorcycle Superstore. No, they're not selling you "blimps" why the price is so competitive, it's a solid price for a solid product. I only buy Metzelers and I only get them here.

New Metzeler M3 Supersport front tire
I bought this new M3 front tire in October when the weather started to get colder here in Colorado. I have about 500 miles on the front tire. So far its working great with the temperature drop on the streets. It doesn’t take long for the tire to heat up and dive into the corners. I'm going to see how many miles I can get on this front tire. I'll let everyone know.

Great Tire
The reason I rated finish a 4 is because a friend of mine purchased some Pirelli DIABLO CORSA III and they even went they distance to remove the rubber "hairs", well they didn't remove them but it was molded that way, anyways the pirelli's seem to have a better finish. I like the fact that these tires seem to weigh less than Pilot Powers (another great tire). Unfortunately I can only compare them to the Pilot Powers. I like that these tires have a rounded profile instead of the pp pointed profile, this make the initial turn in slower and more even. In my opinion not a bad thing this really depends on your bike characteristics. This leads to a more confidence inspiring tire. Which will bring me to another aspect of the tire that I admire; these tires seem to tell you when you are getting close to the limit they gently start to break away, where as on the pp they grip insanely and then let go all of a sudden. This does not mean that the M3's don't grip as well, because as far as grip is concerned they are right up there with pp. Which leads me to heat cycle issue; I was able to get 6600 miles out of the pp but the last thousand were spent slipping and sliding, no it wasn't because they were bald, they just wouldn't heat up anymore thus they remained hard. So far I have about 8500 miles on these and still have about another 1000-1500 miles left on them they still stick like glue, and this is after a ride that pretty much melted my tires, a 150 mile ride of nothing but corners in temps that reached 110ºF air temp (I don't know the road temp was). These tires held up most of the day but when we started getting into the tightest section about the last 20 miles they start to slide. My friend had pp on he reported the same. As far as rain tires this is where I believe the pp beat the m3's at least by a small margin. One last point these tires have thus far show a high resistance to cupping especially in the front, my pp started to cup with about 1500 left on them. Motorcycle: Daytona 675 Riding Style: Fast/Aggressive All of the above are my opinions and I do like the Pilot Powers, but as I said they are the only sport tire I can compare them to.

Big Improvement
I have a Kawasaki 2000 6R and have driven on Dunlop 207's since I had the bike; I never experienced any other tire because this is what came with the bike and I was happy. So it came time for new rubber and I picked up a set M3's from motorcycle-superstore.com (awesome price!). So I was planning on going straight home but then I took my first real hard corner...I'm like holy cow! my bike never handled like that before. From mid turn in the bike just wanted to get low, with my Dunlop's I’m forc

Track/Street for M3's
I recently picked up a set of Sportec M3’s for a Putnam Park track day and street riding. At the track the tires worked well. I always knew what the front tire was doing during turn-in and acceleration out of corners. After about 6-7 sessions of running beginner/intermediate pace the tread life took a good beating, but handling never was compromised. I’ve only put on about 500 miles of street use under the M3’s but handling is leaps and bounds better than the stock D220s. I doubt I will get more

The M3 has restored my confidence in the front end of my bike. This tire maintains excellent road contact, is very stable and responds impeccably to mid corner steering. Best of all, you get all this for much less than Pilots or Diablos!

m-3's
I rode 500 miles this weekend, same twisty Missouri roads both days. The more i pushed these tires the less i thought i was pushing them. I don’t think i can come close to reaching this tires threshold. They stuck when i needed them to, they warmed up great and the performance never faded. Not to mention they barely look like they have been scuffed in. Metzler did it right with this tire and one upped the perfection in the M-1.
