The tire is nice it broke in quick and I’m never worried about it breaking loose in a corner but have yet to ride in a heavy rain the tread pattern seems like it would make the water channel in but still to find that out.

Tires had excellent wear on my 02 RC51, around 8000 on the rear, but it is a slick now, front has more life to go. These tires do need to warm up. Rear tire has awesome grip. Wish tread pattern matched rear a little better but that’s nit picking. Safe riding to all of you.

2002 CBR1100XX
Grippier when cold or wet than Pilot Powers and gives good feedback when pushed in the twisties. Plenty of grip in the dry. Wear is somewhat quick, but it's a worthy trade-off for the performance and price. Works well with the XX. Only real gripe is that they howl at certain highway speeds - obviously the result of the tread pattern - but not so much that I won't consider buying them again.

Great tire, one of the best I have ran. Very fast warm up and it only takes about 3 good turns to scuff the new ones. They even take the occasional lap day very well.

Metzeler m1 front
These are nice tires for the price. Don't expect the same performance as the latest street/track tire, but they are close. They heat up fast, stick good on dry ground and have a stable feel with good feedback. Wet performance is o.k. Still a bargain if you want the best bang for your buck.

This is a GREAT series tire. Very sticky and great for the turns. The M-1 front and rear together are a remarkable pair for the best of both street riding and for those "racing" moments. Sportec M-1 Front Tire
These tires are the best that I have run on so far. They heat up quickly and stick like glue-Even in the rain. I have 4500 miles on the front right now and they look like they are at half life. Great tire for the money. Motorcycle Superstore delivered this tire within a week of ordering. Great service!

Great Tires!
Just got the Sportec M-1s and I have to say I'm impressed after only a couple hundred miles. Turn-in is lightening quick and very predictable with excellent lean. They are smooth, sticky, and confidence-inspiring even in the rain. So far, I'd say I would definitely get these again.

m1 review
I've run a few sets of these tires and have been very happy. They stick very well on both street and track, warm up very quickly on both and offer great feedback. On the rare occassions they've slid it's been very predictable, but I really had to do something stupid to break them loose. My biggest complaint is that they don't last as well as some tires, but I'll gladly trade quick wear for predictable handling.

Metzler M-1 Sportec Front
Have been very impressed with this tire in all handling and ware. I ride 20% canyon and the rest commuting or long distance freeway/backroad riding. Tire is fitted on a BMW Boxer cup rep that does real well in using all this tire has to offer in sport riding and long life. Tire warms quickly, goes where you want it with great breaking fell. You know what the tire is doing. I usually get over 10000 miles on the front and 5000 on the back. Front is 120X17 and the back a 190X17. Excellent tires. Ju
