Just ok, didn't last long
I got these free off a buddy who was a maxxis sales rep, and I'm glad I didn't pay for them, paid to have them mounted and balanced. The tires fit fine, and I liked the flatter profile they had compared to my friends Metzler ME3's (same size on same bike model). They rode fine, although wandered a bit on highway grooves. In the Twisties and at the track they seemed to heat up fairly quick (although no quicker then other tires I've had) and grip fine. My biggest problems with these tires were their life, I only got a little over 2000miles out of them and 2 trackdays, and before I even did any track days two cracks appeared in the treadblock of the rear at the top/sides right at the edge of the sidewall 2mm or more in width and depth extending towards the center. I sent maxxis customer service a concerned email with pics and never got a response. I took it to a shop and asked around it was determined it was nothing to worry about, but the lack of customer service was frustrating enough.
