D616 is GREAT sport tourer tire
Best 'bargain' sport tour tire I've used. Beats Metzeler hands-down (M3, M1). Made in USA is probably why cost is lower (no import taxes and weak dollar makes no difference). Run on Ducati ST3 and handles the commute and the canyons. I rated corning as average as I run D211GP (World's best SB tire, the MotoGP tire). Stability is not a 5 because the front tire's center siping tends to track in grooved pavement. If the grooving is 'wavy' you get some high frequency head wobble. It goes away as the tire wears (or I just got used to it!) and I do appreciate the price to performance ratio of this rubber.

Pretty darn good
Ok, lots of reviews, but I got these on my R1200gsa I Supermotarded out. I put RT wheels on it, anyway these are fantastic for the price and getting ready to get another set. Yes they tend to slide a bit when you get on the throttle on a turn and they do take a bit to warm up. But I commute 45 miles one way everyday rain or shine and they have held well in all conditions, especially in the rain they are very stable. OK here is the best part, I got 10k on them now and just now starting to square off and yes very close to bald down the center. Its all economics people, these tires lasted 10k and the price is less than $150 and they handle extremely well even going up HWY 1 to Ft Bragg they kept the big GS on track. I am definitely recommending it as a great all around tire. Did I mention the front probably has another 5k on them...woohoo...

Dunlop D616
Put this tire on my Multistrada so I could have something better for the odd gravel forest road and such. The tire does not disappoint on gravel and dirt roads, excellent. Also an excellent wet tire, as I tested out just this weekend during two wet mornings in the VA and NC mountains. Slightly squirmy, but predictable, at 9/10ths plus riding in the mountains. Tread life is going to be short though, I think it won't be much more than 3500 miles. Do not use this tire if you’re sticking to pavement only or need a bit longer life.

Tires with an attitude
These tires felt pretty weird for the first 30 minutes after installation. But I guess that is where these guys reviewing on here must be what they are talking about cause if you’re a REAL RIDER then you will drive regardless of what new tire is on the bike. This Tire is the best tire by far. I fell in love with them about 2 hours later. As for my experience.., I have put 30,000 miles on a 2002 Yamaha R1. ENOUGH SAID. These tires stick to the pavement pretty darn hard very hard. I trust them with my life. And I will be lookin to replace with the same.

Dunlop on Busa (3 month)
Ok. Where should I start? Let me tell you, the day I replaced Bridgestone BT-15 on my Busa was probably one of the happiest days in my Busa ownership. Dunlop D616 just changed the whole perception of how the bike handles. No more skids or slides, especially when U-turn or trying to fit into the tight corner. Stability is not as good as the stability of Dunlop 404 on the metric cruiser, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Overall very good tire on and off road.

Not Bad
BMW R1150R Rockster owner here... I replaced my Dunlop Scorpions with these. My biggest gripe is the tires wander a bit both under hard breaking and if the tires are cold while cornering. Once they heat up they're "not bad" but nothing like some of the other brands out there for a few bucks more. I do go down dirt and gravel roads where I live and they seem to do well for anywhere where the tarmac ends. Must say they are definitely not the best tire out there for the money but if you like the cool tread design, you're on a budget and you ride off pavement or in the rain a lot then this is for you.

pretty good
I haven't hit any really high speed corners yet at full lean because the tires are still pretty new, but so far it feels like a really good tire. Also combined with the price, you can't beat it.

Dunlop - D616 Sport Rear Tire
I have had this tire for a year on my yamaha warrior 1700. The tire is awesome i have around 9300 mile on this tire in temps up to 118 degrees on some of the worst roads ever, i get almost every crappy road condition you can think of. The tire just handles great in the turns and on the highway, the big center bar is great of straight line riders. this tire will not disappoint.
