Touring only
This tire would be a great touring tire but as far as a hard riding sportbike tire goes its not the best choice. I rode this tire hard for about 3000 miles and it just came apart in the center (flaking rubber) but this was hard riding. But with touring riding it would have lasted a lot longer and as far as traction it was decent on dry roads, not like a true sportbike tire, so just keep it as a touring tire.

Bridgestone-Battlax BT-O2O OEM
I mounted this tire on a BMW 1200 LT. My wife and I took a 1100 mile trip to Eureka Springs, ARK. in 4 days. The tire performed just as well or better than the Metzler that I had used before. Now let’s see how long it lasts.

Git ya' some ...
My riding ability is not of a caliber at which I can discern the difference between soft and hard rubber compounds in my tires. Dry and wet traction? I've never pushed one to the point of slipping on the pavement, so I rate this tire tops (I know nothing different). The biggest selling point to me is that I get more mileage ... about 13K miles ... from a set of BT-020s than other Honda ST1300 folks get with different brands. This is my 3rd set of BT-020s.

Good Deal
I purchased this OEM replacement because I picked up a screw in the tire on the bike. Only had 2,300 miles on it. I checked pricing with dealers and Motorcycle Superstore was about 1/2 the price. I used their preferred installer link to find a local bike shop to do the work. Everything went great. I took the back wheel off to save a bit of money so the tire and service cost me around $150. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again but I hope the tire wears out this time before being replaced.

For the st 1300 this is the best, and cheapest. I've tried the others, and this tire is it.

Bridgestone 020 Rear Tire
The 020 is the second on my 650r Ninja. The tread life is great and cornering has been great here in Georgia and on the Dragon in NC. I don't ride too fast in the rain, but for what I have done the wet traction has been good.

BT 020 rear tire
I have put 3 sets of these on my FJR, gets a little slick when it's hot & you are riding at a high pace, but never goes off 100 %. The tire allows slides that, while it can surprise you, it never scares you. My FJR commutes 60 miles a day into Wash, DC all year long, and I enjoy a heavy throttle hand when I am able. Good traction all the way to the edge, very good mileage, the front tire is bald at 8500 miles, and the rear could go anther 1500 or so. I think a fork brace will solve my frt tire wear.

Tires
Tires are great; however the Motorcycle Superstore is the reason I bought them here. Great service and great prices. I did a lot of checking and they were the best. Don't know about tread life yet and haven't ridden in the rain with them yet.

Darn good tire
I've had 4 of these now and I get decent mileage out of them. Wet traction is excellent and dry is also very good for a non-dual compound tire.

Great tires
These tires are great; the grip is amazing. I am doing things that I could not have done with the OEM tire. It is a totally different bike (Yamaha FZ6)

Battlax BT-020
This is my second replacement (3rd tire) on my Honda 2006 ST 1300. I have 30,000K on the bike in two riding seasons.
My rides tend to be long distance, 7 - 10 days at a time, 5K - 7K per trip. Needless to say, I have ridden in all types of conditions. The handling and traction characteristics of this tire are second to none. I ride hard and fast on a heavy, weighted down bike. This tire has never failed me in any road condition - wet, dry, cold or otherwise. The only criticism I have is the wear/life of the tire. By 10k the tire is worn flat...Hopefully the replacement model, BT021 has better life.
Good on Bridgestone - would not hesitate to recommend this tire over makes like Dunlop, Pirelli (sp?) or Metzler.

Bridgestone Battlax BT-020 Rear Tire
I just had this tire put on the bike, however the tire I took off was the very same kind. I was able to get 9,500 mile without any problems. As you can tell I am pretty satisfied or I would not have replaced it with the same tire.

Bridgestone Battlax BT-020 OEM Replacement Rear Tire
This is my 3rd set of these tires for my Honda ST1300. Love the way they last 12,000 miles on average of hard riding. Always a solid feel in rainy weather as well. See you in the twisties.

Great milage and performance
This tire came as OEM on my Yamaha FZ-1. They knew what they were doing with this choice! I replaced the rear tire after 15,000 miles! That's when the tread wear bar showed up. Replaced w/ same tire and have 9k on it and still looks great. The chicken strips on the side are about 1/8", so they hold excellent also. I live in the desert, so no rain to try out the grip, but lots of HEAT in the summer! The front tire lasted another 2k but was cupped pretty bad. I replaced the front tire w/ BT 021, better choice for the front, I have 7k on them and they still look great.
