I ran Pirelli Diablo Supersports before these and I would feel the rear tire wanting to kick out at medium lean angles. I put the 2ct's on and first turn I went through I had my bike leaned over further than I had ever leaned with the Diablos. Great tires that get really sticky really fast. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Great Tire
I have used these tires for years now on both the street and the track. I have never had a traction problem or a loss of grip. The tires handle well at extreme lean angles and speed. The harder compound keeps the tires from wearing out as fast on the street. I am very pleased with these tires and i am very hesitant to change.

I have run these tires for the last two years on my R1 and they are the best I've used yet. They were my choice for the last four track days I did and they stick like hell! The only times I slid at all were when I was late braking and didn't have the chassis fully settled upon corner entry. Life span is good to excellent depending on road quality and amount of rider abuse. Tires typically lasted me six to eight months after a track day. The dual compound is definitely worth the money, as evidenced by the manufacturing trend. Motorcycle-Superstore so far has been flawless!

This is by far one of my favorite tires. I have not one complaint so far. Well worth the money I spent. Everyone sat there and said why would you spend that much on a set of tires. Well the performance says it all. Not to mention I feel when you only have 2 wheels the place to skimp shouldn't be your tires. I can't say much for the durability since I have only had them a couple hundred miles but they are wearing nicely and all's well. I will deff. Be getting another set when it is time.

I would go into a corner and think twice about how I would be getting out of it but with the 2ct I go harder into them now with no worries at all! I got a set of the new compound 2CT Pilots for my SV-1000. I can say they ride as stable as you could want at high speed, corner well, and ride in heavy rain just like the pavement was dry! The rear doesn't seem quite as sticky as the Corsa III I had before but it's fine. I bought the 2CTs to see how much wear I could get from them and also to see how fast they warm up in the cold, as claimed. Only the way I'm loving and using them I don't think I'll make it to the cold. I put about 2,000 on them in 3 weeks!

A very good tire
These tires were a huge improvement over the OEM's. The bike really came alive and was far more responsive and confidence inspiring after they went on. They served me well through 3 track days and 4,000 miles of mixed riding. I'm going to replace them with pilot roads for the winter, but come summer, I'll be putting another pair of pilot powers on.

This is by far the best tire I have had on my 600. Two track days on it, one in the rain and one dry. Never once did I feel like the tire would let me down. Soft compound on the edges wears very quick. I am on the warning bumps on the side and the center still looks new.

I bought the set to replace my stock battle axe's, and what an improvement. I've put over 400 miles on it already and the tires feel great. It made an already good bike even better. Maybe Honda should just put theses on from the factory. Also, buying the tires here, I saved a whole lot.

Third set of Michelin pilot CT2s
The tire is used on a BMW K12S. The bike is used as a sport touring bike with a have emphasis on sport. The tire gives great performance in turns and wet conditions. It is easy to use the full width of the tire in the twisties. Depending on the style of riding I have been able to obtain 3900 miles and average about 1800 to 2000 miles on our chip and seal roads. This tire is by far the best I have ever tried. I ride a VFR800 and ride aggressively. Tire heats up fast and sticks like no other. It feels like I have a whole different bike, a lot lighter feeling, quicker turn in and never lets loose in the sweepers at full lean angle all the way to the edge, never scary and always predictable. Rides excellent in a down pour, I'm as confident on them in the rain as I am in the dry. At 500 miles they show a slight knife edging on the sides. These are the best money can buy and as usual MS had 'em at my door in a week. Try them out, you'll never stray.

Excellent Tire
I have a '05 R6 and can safely say that this tire is amazing! Its turn in is predictable. The grip even in Arizona monsoon thunderstorms (got caught at work) was great. The grip once properly warmed up was nothing short of confidence inspiring. Quick to warm up, these tires are great for an afternoon of canyon carving or the daily commute. I have only had them for 500 miles so I can't give a guess as to how long they'll last but if the 2 compound gimmick works then it should be pretty good. For the rider who wants to get the most out of his/her bike or even a beginner who wants the reassurance of extreme grip, this tire is for you.

I can't believe how much better these tires are then my stock tires, I was going to buy the BT016's but they were out of stock, Thank God... from the moment I put them on I could tell the difference, the bike wants to turn on its own, and sticks like glue, your confidence will rise, I've been in the rain with them and that's when I knew I will never go back to anything else. I have about 1000miles on them so don't know the durability but so far it’s totally worth it, you won’t be disappointed, 5 stars...!!! And I'm planning a buying a GSXR1000, make sure one of the first mods are a set of this puppies.

Ok as compared to Bridgestone. bt 014 this tire absolutely rocks. If nothing else it will make you feel as though u are better than you are. I ride aggressively and this tire is great. For those of us who enjoy leaning the bike over and going through the turns this tire sticks I mean it makes u want to lean the bike over more and more. Maybe its reading the tire description 51 degrees of lean will give so much confidence to lean the bike over and test your limits.

Michelin - Pilot Power 2 CT Review
This is my second set of Pilot Power 2 CT, the first set lasted 4,000 miles, but I ride moderately aggressive. The tire tries to last with its harder compound center, but this is the only weak point to the tire. It is absolutely true at 80-90% throttle, with serious braking underway and turning, you can count on the soft sided compounds to grip the road. I used these tires on track day on Oct. 16, 2008 at Daytona on my Honda 1996 CBR1000F. At 155 MPH I felt safe on the 31 degree banks. The sure footed and safe feeling on the road course came natural for these tires. I ran 33 PSI front and 31 PSI rear and was set, as suggested by the Michelin rep, a little less PSI for newer and lighter bikes. For street try 40/38 for maximum MPG, but take some air out for performance. This is the best tire I have ever rode on, it is without a doubt the best buy for the buck, you will not be disappointed!

When I first purchased my Aprilia it had the normal Powers already fitted. After they had expired I replaced them (rear first) and I instantly noticed a difference. With front and rear fitted there is WAY more feedback from the front end and the rear won’t get too out of line. Again, I’m riding a 1000cc Twin and the worst get out of corners as a snake/slight bounce as the tire starts to break traction. It is very predictable at the outer limits of traction and I feel that all of these elements combined make for a great tire. I have ridden to work in the rain a few times with no problems. I ride with some real fast people out here in so-cal and a lot of them have the BT-016's. They all swear by that tire, but I’m sticking with these, if it ain’t broke, don't fix it.

I have only had these tires for about 500 miles so I can't say if the dual compound will last a lot longer than the regular tires but as far as the tire's performance, it is incredible. It is an aggressive tire that just wants you to dive into corners and even on my big vfr800 I can get into the corner and I've worn the tire all the way to the edge without any second thoughts about the tire slipping. I would recommend this tire to anyone who is near twisties.

All I can say is WOW! !
As soon as I first rode my Ninja with these tires, I knew instantly that they were worth every penny I paid for new tires. In the past, I WAS a Bridgestone fan, but not any longer. These tires make me feel like I am a better rider than I am. I highly recommend these tires if sport riding is your interest. I rated fit at a 3 only because I had to return to the dealership because of vibration problems.

I though I got the best tires on the market. Michelin prove me wrong. There was 1-1/2 inch on each side of my rear tire that was virgin until I put a 2CT on the front and I though Oh my! are you kidding me! Then I got the rear, And guess what? Hello... white stripe. Now I can see the ants crossing the stripe in each turn. Outstanding tires even at 15 degree temp they still have good grip. Include 10 years riding experience for free too!
Plus I have used Motorcycle Superstore service for years with no one complain. Can't bit that.

This is the second sct of tires that I have bought and they are really great tires I bought them because I thought that having a harder center on the tire it would last longer but I got the average mileage that I have gotten out of other tires (about 6,000 miles), but it is a good all around tire it sticks really well in the curves and they are cheaper than most other quality tires.

You know how they say you get what you pay for. They were right. While these aren't the cheapest tires, they definitely prove themselves worth every penny every time you take a turn. VERY confidence inspiring and sticky. These are some of the smoothest rolling tires that I have felt. Not sure how they hold up on the track since I don't race, but for the street they seem to be resilient enough and I'm expecting a lot of miles out of them since the probably wont flatten the center nearly as fast as with a single compound tire, Great tire and great service from motorcycle-superstore.com. I have been riding pretty fast stuff for 36 years...started with a Kawasaki H2 in 1972 and they've gotten faster every year. I don't know how many sets of tires I've gone through, but I can honestly say...the only thing between a rider and the hospital is his skills and his tires. Confidence is a must or the machine can not be pushed. Right now I'm on a ZX14 and the CT's allow me to be one of the few 58 year olds with NO CHICKEN STRIPES ON MY TIRES. I will definitely buy another set of CT's. I love them! STICKY with an aggressive feel that can not be had with OEM's. I have ridden on other brands...NO MORE..I'm stuck on the CT's dry or in the rain. They are predictable...that's a major plus for me. Superstores treated me very well and I'll be back very soon.

Best tired around for super sport bikes
If you plan on pushing your super sport bike to the limit on the streets and the track than you're just not going to get anything better than the Pilot Power 2 CTs. The only downside is that they wear slightly faster than most other tires but that's because the compound used on these tires is soft(ish), and it's soft so you have better grip, and you have better grip so you can accelerate better and turn with more confidence, etc, etc, etc...

I put these bad boys on my GSXR1000 and haven't looked back since. Confidence you can count on when you need it the most. For serious riders only though. My last tires were Bridgestone Battleaxe BT014 only because that is what came with the bike. An ok tire when warmed up but warm up time is longer than the CT's. Recommend these tires to all twisty and track riders.

I ride a Hayabusa and have struggled to find a tire that is as versatile as the bike seems to be. I do some touring up in TN and have done track days at Barber Motorsports Park and this tire has been the best so far. On the street its solid and tracks perfectly - very confident feel without the 'squishiness' I felt in other brands. On the track, I was able to lean the bike over so far that I ground off part of the stator cover! This tire does it all, kinda pricey but worth the bucks if you ride hard.

I am not a pro, I haven’t been to the track yet but these tires feel good on the street. I don’t think I lean any more than I did with my first set of tires but I have no chicken strips on these because of the softer sides. More rubber on the street when I lean is definitely a plus. I hear they don’t last long but I do feel safer when cornering so I am willing to change tires more often.

Great tires. I have a '05 GSXR1000 and my riding style is aggressive street riding mixed with occasional track days. I think the 2CT is the perfect tire for this use. The stock tires don't have enough grip for the track but pure track tire wear too quickly on a 1000cc bike. The 2CT dual compound gives much better grip at the track and increases feel on the street. A+
