great tires for trackdays
I've been using these tires for trackdays and really like them. They wear quick, but they are sticky, give good feedback and I have only had the rear spin up once but it was very predictable.

Great track tire!
On my second pair of BT-003's now, after moving up from the 002's. Rock solid track tire once they are scrubbed in (be careful till then), very predictable, grip like mad and great feel. Do they last: The first pair lasted me 6 trackdays (track only bike) of A group riding, which is awesome. They still had plenty of grip but were worn well past the wear bars, or I’d still be on 'em.
Buy em, you won't be sorry.

I just ran these tires at Barber Motorsports Park on my Ducati 1098. I ran 29psi Rear and 30psi Front on a dry 65 degree day.
The tires are really stable (no wiggling or sliding after being heated up), turn in was a little slower than a comparable Michelin but after a couple of laps your used to them, they heat up quickly and got really sticky and gummy and that would indicate a good twisty / canyon carver for the street too. I had no issues with these tires. I think Bridgestone has hit the mark with a good street / track tire at a very good price!

These are DOT racing tires... the harder compound helps keep it from getting flat but it is still a racing tire... highway riding is going to wear these babies down quickly as they are mainly for track days and have the DOT qualification just if you can't afford to switch tires every time you go to the track and leave... if you want tires that get really good grip and get really good mileage look at the BT-016's... I run those all the time and I'm going to get about 6k out of the rear and probably 8k out of the front...

If you liked the BT002RS
You are going to like the 003... Frankly at my riding level at track days, I am able to feel a bit of difference between the 002 and the 003.. the "1" rating for wet is because I have never run the tire in the wet.. I push a 550# around the track (Busa) and this tire never gives a bit of complaint. 90 degree days and 20 minute sessions and it never gets greasy feeling at all.. Am really glad they held the price point with the 002RS..

So far very happy with the tire. Very Predictable with good feedback. Tire warms up quickly and sticks very well.
Will buy again.

Great tire! VERY sticky in the corners which is very very important for anyone interested in hittin the track. It even hooks pretty decent in the rain(clutched it to see how it would do wet and she dead hooked!) It Is not as streetable as I had hoped though. I do very little highway riding(maybe 100 miles out of the 1100 overall miles on the tire) and it has already started to flaten in the middle. Kinda disappointing since it is suppose to be a multi compound tire to prevent that. All around AWESOME tire though!!!

bt 003 duel compound rear tire
I just got my stock rear tire on my 08 ninja 500 replaced (want a bigger bike, college forbids me from being able to afford insurance on anything bigger) with a 140/70, and it has made a huge difference. I conducted my own test, with my stock tire I could take a specific corner at 50-55 mph, but after replacing only the rear, i could glide through the corner at 75-80 comfortably, and still have a little farther to lean. This tire warms up quickly, and in this part of Wyoming there are not a lot of corners, so the dual compound helps out by preventing a flat spot. I have rode in the rain, but I always take it easy if it’s wet, but the tire seemed very stable. I have put about 300 miles on this tire, and I can see the side compound is softer; it has worn slightly from my testing the tire. I can’t wait till my front tire gets here to see the difference; this is a great tire at an amazing price.
