The roads in my part of Terra Firma are horrible on tyres. In SD where I came from I would expect to get between 8-10k from a rear tire. Out here----lucky to get 5-6k. I was looking for a tyre that would hold up better and give me some good traction in the crazy weather we have here. Have been a loyal Avon user for many years since racing in Europe and these seem to be doing the business. Had two long trips in the rain so far and they performed flawlessly as well as not going away in the dry.

Awesome tire
I ride a 2007 Yamaha R1 and have tried several different tires on it. I’d say traction and handling wise these are the best. I ride pretty hard edge to edge and never once had a slippage problem. I pulled them off at around 4000 miles and the rear was pretty much toast and the front had about 20% of its life left. Currently I’m running BT003 and can’t wait to get back to the VPs.

not too bad
I thought it was decent. Would’ve liked to see it last a little longer but it’s a really sticky tire. loved it. Probably get another one but i kinda wanna try that metzler m5
