Great Michelin quality

I've never really had a bad Michelin tire. I got a pair of these for my NT650 for doing trackdays and summer commuting. I had the Pilot 2CT's before these and they're okay on the track, great on the street, However, the Power One's are ideal for the trackday enthusiast who doesn't want to mess with tire warmers. These warm up MUCH better than the Bridgestone BT003RS that I ran all last year.

Track Use

Did a track day at Barber MSP and found these tires worked very well, turn 2 works the front very hard and I had no issues. It rained lightly in the last session but i would not say it was wet enough to evaluate the wet traction performance

Michelin Power One

Purchased the Power One tires for a track day, and, they were outstanding. Within 2 laps they were ready to rock. Very confidence inspiring. But, they really shined about half way through the day when it rained. The traction was very surprising for a tire with no real tread pattern

Great tires for the track!

Have done 2 track days on these tires already and they grip VERY WELL..Not recommended when the track is wet. They are good street tires too! After 2 track days I can see they wear rather quickly. Ran 29 psi up front and 27 in the back, gripped well. Heated up QUICKKK!

Very Sticky

These tires are amazingly good when it's dry out. Don't take long to warm up, and stick no matter what angle you're at, I have no chicken strips on the back, and very tiny ones on the front, and I'm not an amazing rider by any means. When it's wet out, they feel a little squirrely, which is to be expected due to the tread design, but I've never hydroplaned. Looks like I'll get roughly 4000 miles out of them, also to be expected due to the very soft composition.

This tire will stick!

I put on the Power One tire and went straight to the track! I'm a new track rider and wanted the BEST tire out there and decided to pick the Power One's due to the fact it would just stick to the track and boy did it! You will love the tall 55 profile and love the stickiness of this beauty! Even got my knee down for the very first time. Boy do I love this tire!!!! You will too...

Fantastic Canyon Tire

I don't ride these in the rain, can't imagine they would perform since they are 95% slick. They don't need a lot of time to heat up. Stick very nicely in the canyons. On the track I noticed toward the end of my sessions they were too hot and squishy and broke free coming out of the corners. I love the tire though. Very manageable! Buy 'em worth every penny! You will love 'em too. Guaranteed!

Michelin - Power One 2CT Rear Tire

This is the best tire so far with my bike (daily rider, Suzuki Hayabusa and track/canyons! ~120 miles/day). I’ve had Pilot Powers and Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsas. This tire lasts me ~4k miles, holds me all the way down on to my pucks/sliders (and this a big bike!). The Pilot Powers would let loose early and late in turns :( The Pirellis held up; BUT both tires only lasted ~3k miles. Not as good wet as the Pirelli, so if I was doing anything crazy in wet conditions; I’d go Pirelli. Other than that, never going to another tire again!
