Great Tire Great Price!!!
I was looking for a rear tire on my 05 CBR 1000RR because mine was bald. I went to local dealerships and the prices were much, much higher. I got routed to this website when checking online and I'm glad I did!!! Great tire for a great price and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely come back for all my motorcycle needs.

Great Tire
I ride just about every day and got 6700 miles from new to showing threads. Very reliable tire. Taken them all way to the edge of the tire. Drifting felt very comfortable at high speed corning on track. Good buy for the price. I don’t know how they handle in wet conditions I never ride in the rain :P

This tire rocks
I almost have 6,000 miles on this tire and the tread is still going. On dry pavement this tire has amazing grip. Not really sure about wet pavement. In the corners you almost feel like you can just keep digging a little deeper and the battlax gives you the confidence to try a little deeper in the corner. I recommend this tire for anyone willing to get aggressive when they take it to the street and the track.

Great tyre
I reviewed this tyre before and just have to say it’s great. Wet traction I can't comment on, living in SoCal don't really get the chance to test. Stability, cornering and dry traction are terrific, tread life not so terrific. I get around 3200 - 3500 out of the rears, better than some, worse than others. But I’ll sacrifice a bit of tread life for cornering and traction any day. This is now my 3rd set, why change their cheap enough and Motorcycle Superstore delivers them right to my door for a better price than I can buy locally..Currently am getting 1 front to 2 rears pretty much the norm...

Great street tire for the cost
This is a great tire for the cost. Best bargain out there in my opinion. If you do a lot of hard cornering you will wear the edges out quicker than the middle, but for a daily commute tire with the occasional hard riding thrown in, it is perfect.

Great for track not for street
Bought these to replace my oem Dunlops that came on my 09 FZ1.. Motorcycle Superstore continues to exceed my expectations both in price and service. Word of caution, when you get these installed make sure to heat them up, burnouts etc. I forget to do that and almost dropped the bike thanks to extremely slippery factory surface glaze on tire. Going from a 190/50 to 190/55 greatly improved the turn in and handling in general. Bike goes exactly where you point it. Takes getting used to from the factory set. Bike seems to be faster also, seems like all of the bike's power is harnessed through the tire to the pavement due to its improved stickiness.

Great bang for the buck
So far I have about 6K on my rear and I am pretty impressed on how the tire is holding up. I do a mixture of long distance highway and slow-medium paced riding around town and in the country. Never had the rear slip unexpectedly and I've felt confident when riding in the rain. All in all I think it's an all around impressive, practical tire and an acceptable alternative to the Pilot 2s.

Tire had grip from the beginning, did not need the 100 mile break in. Bike leans into corners with ease. Previous tire

Great tire... Replaced the OEM Dunlop on my 09 CBR1000RR only got 2500 miles on the dunlop and just getting ready to change out the Bridgestone for a second at 4000 miles. I ride everyday it is above freezing which is a lot in TX wet or dry the tire warms up well and sticks like velcro to the road.

I have a 2008 CBR1000RR that came with Dunlop qual tires that were awful; just put a new set of Bridgestone BT016 on my bike and everything changed. The bike has super grip now and the lean angle is crazy all the way to the edge; I haven't had the tires long enough to see the tread life yet but so far excellent choice.

I have a ducati 1098 and had the pirelli supacora on there. Best tire ever super sticky not good in the wet. Remember these tires are very expensive. Next best thing the bt016 better than pilot ct"s and the metzler. Get the point? Unless u got it like that to get the pirelli. Buy the bt016. Minimal loss for a huge gain in price. Dipset

I have 750 miles ridden on these tires. I feel very confident in the corners. I'm not sure the traction in wet or tread life (I'm sure they are great in wet and long tread life). Great tires. Highly recommend these tires if one is looking for replacements. As always, Motorcycle Superstore is prompt with shipping and great pricing! My favorite online store! Thank you.

great bang for the buck
Wore out the original BT014 on the rear of my ZX14 and replaced it with this BT016. I only have 600 miles on it so the tread life is hard to make a final judgment on. But as far as the stability and Traction, definitely a better tire for this bike, feedback, ride comfort, stability all much better than the original. Cornering has greatly improved a little more responsive when flicking from one side to the other. I would buy this tire again.

Best Bang-for-buck Tire!
The title says it all, this tire is the best for your money. The guys at the local shop told me they were nice, but I had to find out for myself. Now I live in SoCal where it never rains, so I can't say how the wet riding is. I will say that dry handling both in corners and on straights is excellent. Get a set before they realize how good they are and jack the price up!

Great tire so far
I love this rear tire. The turn is much easier than my old Dunlop stock tire. The side is softer than the center, and the 3 compound does seem to increase the traction during the lean. I am running it at 38psi on my CBR600RR and I only put 120 miles on it, so I don't know about the tread life nor the wet traction yet and I make a guess it is a 4.

Great Tires
I got these tires put on my Triumph Street Triple 675 a few weeks ago. I've been pushing them a little harder each day. I am no pro rider so I don’t think I will ever approach the limits of these tires. But I do a lot of commuting and my stock Dunlop Qualifier tire had a really flat center section after 10k miles. These new tires have really made the ride much more comfortable, and they have more even turn-in. Steering requires a little more effort, but seems less twitchy and more controlled. I've got more confidence turning and stopping, but I was coming from worn tires so that is to be expected. I don’t know about tread life yet, but they seem softer than my old tires and I feel more confident so I anticipate these will not last 10k miles.

Fantastic tire
For the street the best tire period
For the track great for 750 and 600 but can get a bit wiggly on 1000 BUT, this is the first tire I have ever experienced that steps out and STILL has Full confidence in what it's doing . I can and do get on the gas more just to drift it out further thinking I'm Jeremy McWilliams lol!! Not, but it's a real treat to experience a tire giving you full feedback even beyond traction limits of the tire. That's the rear . I recommend the 190/55 over the 190/50. Setting up the bike for the 50series is not as easy as the 55. For me the 55 series is more consistent in feedback and neutrality from vertical to full lean. Front tire is also a happy happy joy joy moment. The front gives full confidence and feedback when scrubbing speed to the apex or in my case at times running wide hehe. Please understand this is my opinion and I am proficient in setting up a bike pretty well so if you’re new to getting different tires over your OEMs then do your homework and educate yourself In the geometry of your bike and different tire profiles. Good day

Bridgestone Battlax
A solid tire on the straights and grippy enough for leaning the bike over with confidence. Not a lot of rain in So. Cal at present so not a lot to say about wet traction. Likewise, only a few hundred miles put on the tire so not a lot to say about overall tread life; like always, the middle should wear out much faster than the sides.
Nonetheless, I really like the Battlax tire and would buy another set without hesitation.

Add to my previous reviews. Another 30 laps at Road Atlanta. running 30/30 hot. Running 1:48 - 50's) on a stock cbr600rr. Tire is still holding up really well...I am going to order an extra set to take with me to my next track day. Both Front and Rear are doing great, I have a lot of confidence in my front end feel. And not to forget all the street/commute miles I do on the same bike...so the tire has gone through a lot of heat cycles. What a GREAT Tire!

Pretty good tire. I have an '02 ZRX 1200r that I like to ride pretty hard through the twisties and it has held up really well. Have about 1000 miles so far and is showing a little bit of wear so I'm anticipating about 3500 miles from this tire. Not great but definitely okay considering the HP I'm putting to the back wheel.

The 09 ZX6 comes stock with the 016's but they are only dual compound. The aftermarket 016's are triple compound and they are not squaring off near as fast as the OEM tires did. I've pushed these tires pretty hard and they hold extremely well and are very confidence inspiring tires. I have never had them slip, skip, jump or loose traction with the road in general. I've never had the aftermarket tires in the rain but the OEM tires did great in the rain so I'd imagine these would too. I'm completely serious when I say I love these tires and they are the only tires I will put on my bike.

BT-016 Tires
I purchased these tires a couple of days before spending 4 days riding the tail of the dragon and all the surrounding roads/areas. I was replacing the stock tires off of my 08 R6 and it was like night and day. I roadraced for years from the mid 80's until the mid 90's and held expert license in both WERA/AMA and it is amazing how good these new breed of tires have progressed. I really cannot comment on the life because although we did put close to 1200 miles in 4 days, it was just 4 days but they seem to be wearing very well. I will buy these again.

Good tires
I think they are good tires for the street. %80 of riders will never see the full potential of their bikes any way. I think as long as you have a good name brand tire you should be good. These tires are good but I will never see the full potential of them on the street. Will buy again, I don't ride in the rain so wet traction is not important. I have the 109/55 on my 2004 CBR 1000rr so cornering is good. Tread life depends on the rider and road conditions. Everybody has their own experience, one different from the other

Lve the BT-016
I recently switched over from Dunlop to Bridgestone's BT-016 tires. Can I just say, wow! This tire feels like it grips better, and traction is so much stronger. Compared to the Dunlop's I previously had, I can notice a big handling difference, for the better. The rear feels like it actually wants to turn.

Lovin it!!
I have read about going from a 190/50 to a 190/55 tire. Most said they love it. I must say I absolutely love this tire too!! I feel like I am sitting little higher than before but I also can lean further when taking corners. The traction is awesome once they get warmed up. It was a toss-up between this tire or the Pilot Power 2CT. No one seemed to have a good answer for which is better. Seems to be a mere matter of preference. For the price, this tire is a better great choice. Only have 100 miles on them now so we will have to wait and see about the tread life...I gave it a 5 anyways.

Like this tire A LOT!
I just ordered my second set of BT016s from here. I like this tire and for the price, it is hard to go wrong. This will be my second set this year but that adds up to just over 4K of every type of riding on the current set. Commuting, touring, twisties and hard fast corners. Edge to edge. Commuting is hardest on these tires though. Anyway, handling is great. High speed straight line stability is smooth as silk. Corner control is outstanding. I do not think you can say enough good things about this tire. You will have to pay over $300 a set to get set of tires comparable to these. Not necessarily better but comparable.

Let me tell you!
Put these on my 01 GSXR 1000 1 day before I left for a 4,000 mile road trip from FL to IL and spent a week in the smokey mountain DEALS GAP area, maybe 25% worn, though average speed was well in the 100+ range so not bad at all, cornering with over 100 lbs of luggage was awesome, and road in 700-800 miles of rain on the way home not one scare so will buy these again, and cannot wait to go back to deals gap area.

Took my RF600R to deals gap with BT-016 front and back. Rode as hard as I could and pushed the bike to its limits. Scraped footpegs through nearly every turn and not so much as a slip at any point. Truly amazing tires. I would swear by them.

Best Tire Ever
Without doubt the best tire I've ever run. 2008 Triumph Speed Triple. Not the highest HP litre bike. I was a die-hard Pirelli guy, but I'm a convert. Amazing grip. Feel from the front is confidence inspiring. I'm hard on the front, take it deep into corners, carry a lot of speed and lean angle, the grip and feedback are exactly what my style requires.
I'm on my 4th rear and 3rd front. See no need to switch, though may try the new 003 one of these days. I Average about 2,500 miles on a rear, 3,000 or so from a front. At the price point and with the grip and performance, this is just fine with me.

BT-016 - Holy Traction, Batman!
I was a little skeptical about trying this on. I've previously exclusively ridden on Pirelli DC and DC IIIs. After doing my research on the web, I decided to try this multi-compound rear tire and I'm extremely happy with the decision. Although I haven't taken them on the track yet, I ride very aggressively on the street and the BT-016 gives me so much more confidence, and helps me corner really really well! I also had the chance to ride in a downpour, and it was gripping really nicely. The only complaints I've read about this tire is the fast wear (1500 - 2000) miles. I don't know, but those complaints may be unfounded since I've already put on over 800 miles and there's barely ANY sign of wear. I weigh about 200 lbs and ride pretty aggressively just about all the time... and of course ... you can't beat the price on this gem! Much cheaper than other Super Sport tires that are on par with the performance of the BT-016.

The new BT-016 is a great tire for the price, you can't beat it. The grip is great on the street. I will never get any other tire. The wear so far is good and I have been on it lately and its only wearing on the very ends that are very soft compound. Great tire so far.

Into Battle. Great STREET / Sport tire - PART 2
I'd like to add an update here...I just got done with two full track days at CMP. Running 30-30 hot (front-rear) and WOW. These things took two days of pounding. After 14 sessions or so - 20 minute each sessions of pretty hard riding (usually 5 laps each session). These tires held up...still lots of rubber left on the sides and no sliding at all. it was about 90 deg the whole weekend. Did not sweat...just kept up lap after lap. Tomorrow, I'm going to commute on these to work. When these are gone, I AM GOING TO BUY another set of BT-16's.

So far have had great success! They NEED to warm up to be at peak performance. I know that they all do but these in particular are a too loose when they are cold. Put a set on 700mls ago and I love them....Had Rennsports and Michelin powers before, both great but were gone in around 2000mls. The stability, braking and cornering of these compare very well against the softer tire (take a little more to warm, but no biggie). As for tread life, I’ve put on 700mls (all twisties) and they barely looked scrubbed in (way better than the softs), so tread life looks good (fingers crossed). Wet traction is not an issue for me here in SoCal, so have rated 5 because they excelled in the other four. Well worth a try for the money, you get a great performing tire for a very reasonable price. I know will buy these again.

This is a great tire. Warms up very quickly. I changed my front and rear (as it should be) to BT16's and wow. After they were scrubbed, I get the most epic grip in the street, on-ramps, and off-ramps. I commute on my cbr600 but hit the mountain twistys on weekends and these tires are such a confidence booster. My suspension is setup right (i think) and the bike is amazingly stable even accelerating in a lean out of a turn. I have about 2k miles on mine and absolutely love it. The best part I feel is that the tired has retained its shape even after lots of commute miles and center tread life is looking good. Without a doubt, will buy again.

So far this tire is great! I've put about 600 miles on them since installed and the tread life looks like it was built to last. Cornering is flawless on dry terrain. You can feel the traction and stability as you go through turns. Much better than the Dunlop qualifiers I had previously. I Recently replaced the stock DIABLO CORSA III's on my 2008 Ducati 1098. I ride fairly aggressively, usually with a couple of track days thrown in. I decided to try the 16's as a replacement for more street riding and bump absorption, fewer track days. After only 100 miles I can say grip has been very good with no unusual handling characteristics after scrubbing them in. These tires warm up quickly and have impressed me to this point. I would highly recommend this tire for any sport bike as a replacement. I do not ride the Duc in the rain, so I did not rate it.

Hey all, I picked up a new 160/60x17 BT-016 for the rear of my 03 SV650 Suzuki and have only put a couple of hundred miles on it so far. I have been running Pilot Powers for a few years and loved them until I started to melt them on hard rides with my buddies. So I went with Power Races, med rear and PRC soft front. And those have worked excellent for me. I ran over something and killed my good rear race and thought that I would give the rear 016 a try. First off I noticed that the bike handles very similar to the way it did with races front and rear (very stable). On a ride with my bros who were running full race tires I had no problems at all with the rear sliding. It stuck great and gave good feedback. It's too soon to tell how it will wear, but it only looked slightly used after the 200 miles. I have yet to try it in the rain, but will soon. :-( I am an Ex AFM class champ and push a little harder than most street riders. I rate this tire excellent and would recommend it to all levels of street/track riders. I will buy another rear as needed. And a front as soon as I wear my PRC out. Bridgestone has an excellent product with their new BT-016's

An awesome tire
I have these tires stock on my '08 gsx-r600. The day after I got them they had enough grip to only leave about half a centimeter of "chicken stips"/wax. After only a month there was no wax left. The tires are incredibly sticky. I have almost 5600 miles on them and I'm getting a new back tire tomorrow. There's still tread left on it though. I've gone very fast on the highway and leaned as far as I can go; with these many miles I can do that. I would recommend this tire to anyone. Good tire life (for a racebike), great adhesion. I'm sure that other tires last longer so that's why I rated tread life as a '3'.

After using Pirelli’s for the last few years I was unsure how these would react, but as O.E. On my zx10r they really do handle quite well. I also have to say the triple compound is no joke, as you wear the tire in you can actually see the softer compound on the extreme outer edges. After a hard 1000 miles I’m noticing wear at the edges but the middle seems to have plenty of life left. Overall I’m very pleased with these as the stock tire.
