Battlax BT-016 Tires
These tires are fantastic! Just replaced Metzler M1's front and rear. I've never ridden Bridgestones and the price was the deciding factor. The reviews seemed to be pretty good also. Anyway, I took it easy for the first 30 miles or so then decided to push them a bit. I hate to sound Zen, metaphysical or whatever but it was like I could feel every bit of the road through the tires. That's the only way I can explain it. Cornering was just effortless. Wherever I wanted the bike to go it went. I had so much fun on my last ride that I didn't see the cop that busted me for speeding. He was nice enough to write me up for only 2mph over the speed limit. I've ridden Michelins and Metzlers in the past but these are now my tire of choice. I gave them 5's for wet traction and tread life even though I really don't have a clue after about 200 miles. I'm assuming they'll do just fine.

A fair priced tire
Hey I recently spooned on a set of these bto16's on my KTM Supermoto and I have to say they leave a little something to be desired. I ran them in dry clean pavement and was surprised they took a little time to warm up. I even had to drop the pressure to 16 front 17 rear to get them to heat up enough (this was on a Supermoto). The grip is ok for a street rider who goes to the mountains every once in a while but hardcore mountain/trackday goers beware, grip is not there. I usually use Pilot Powers on the street and the 003 race compound on the track these bto's are much cheaper but grip is not as good. If you live and ride at an ok pace these will work great but inch up carefully because they will give before you realize it. I would recommend these for a rider on a budget wanting a good tire for street riding they will offer more traction than will be needed in these conditions but for track I would go with something stickier like the 003 race compound not the 003 trackday/street compound.

Excellent tire, excellent value once broken in and warmed up gives performance and confidence that more expensive tires try to achieve. Very happy with this tire even in the rain handling is stable and responsive.

I have a CBR1000RR and just put a set of Bridgestone BT016 tires on the bike and what a difference over the stock dunlops. The grip,cornering, and lean angle is absolutely insane; this tire allows me put down all the power with great stability. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

Not bad
I like the tire through corners; it turns in really quick and sticks nicely. Straight riding however is less nice. I've changed air pressures to all different amounts and it still feels really hard. There's less feedback then the PP I had before. I don't think I'd buy it again but we'll see.

Must read if shopping for a tire
WOW! This tire in combination with the BT-016 rear is amazing. I recently had these tires installed and was amazed how much of a difference premium tires like this make on everyday street riding. I am able to review and compare the front tire independently because I first installed the rear a few weeks ago and just today came around to installing the front. Right out of the shop with the new front tire installed, I started the scuffing and my warm up process by moving the bike side to side. I immediately noticed the way the tire wanted to grip the road. I then took it to the freeway and from that point on, I could not stop smiling. This is like a completely different bike. Bottom line, buy these tires. You won’t be disappointed.

Great tires, better price
I've only had them for a month or so but the tires are performing excellently. The tread seems like it's still brand new and I ride everyday almost! They take a little longer to heat up because they aren't as soft but when they do, they stick and hold the line. I haven't rode the in the rain, so I kept that score neutral. I will definitely buy again.

Good tire
2005 ZX-6R. Good tires. I was deciding between these and the pilot roads. These were cheaper. They perform well and are predictable. Not sure about the wear yet. As long as they get more mileage than my old pilot powers then I'm happy. I recommend the bt016s.

Excellent Tire
I have a 2008 CBR1000RR and just replaced the stock tires with these bridgestones; what a change the bike handles totally different. The lean angle and grip is crazy I am very pleased with this purchase; I can't be sure on tire life because I only have 300 miles on the tires.

Good tire for the money
I have put about 300 miles on it and seems to be holding up under my aggressive driving!Good all around traction and more bang for the buck than pilot powers! Very pleased with them.

Great tire so far
I love this front tire. The turn is much easier than my old Dunlop stock tire, and the stopping distance is also reduced since it grabs the road so well. The side is softer than the center, and the 2 compound does seem to increase the traction during the lean. I am running it at 33psi on my CBR600RR and I only put 120 miles on it, so I don't know about the tread life nor the wet traction yet and I make a guess it is a 4.

Great Tires
I got these tires put on my Triumph Street Triple 675 a few weeks ago. I've been pushing them a little harder each day. I am no pro rider so I don’t think I will ever approach the limits of these tires. But I do a lot of commuting and my stock Dunlop Qualifier tire had a really flat center section after 10k miles. These new tires have really made the ride much more comfortable, and they have more even turn-in. Steering requires a little more effort, but seems less twitchy and more controlled. I've got more confidence turning and stopping, but I was coming from worn tires so that is to be expected. I don’t know about tread life yet, but they seem softer than my old tires and I feel more confident so I anticipate these will not last 10k miles.

I've wrote a review on the rear tire as well; but these tires are fantastic. My OEM 016's squared off very fast as they are only dual compound tires. The aftermarket 016's are triple compound and they have held up very well. I love these tires and they are the only ones I'll run.

Love the BT-016
I recently switched over from Dunlop to Bridgestone's BT-016 tires. Can I just say, wow! This tire feels like it grips better, and cornering is much smoother than with the Dunlop's. I get a better feedback on the tire and road, which provides a lot more confidence when taking fast corners. I recently took the tires to the track, and all I can say, is that they warm up pretty good, and held fine during the entire day.

Took my RF600r to deals gap with BT-016 front and back. Rode as hard as I could and pushed the bike to its limits. scraped footpegs through nearly every turn and not so much as a slip at any point. Truly amazing tires. I would swear by them.

Fantastic tires at a fantastic price
The best thing about these is that you can feel when they warm up and the sides feel sticky making the bike feel like its floating through the corners. I had on the 15's and got these and it’s been a huge difference. I love these tires; they have given me a whole new level of confidence at higher speeds. As for slow speed, the tire patch is a little thinner now that they are new and my balance has been challenged but I would highly recommend them especially at these prices.

This is an awesome tire! I've only put about 500 miles on the set so far but I can tell you it made my bike feel better than any other tires I have run. They handle exceptionally well, even in wet road conditions. I have more confidence in the twisties now with these New Bridgestone Battlax BT-016s. They brake, corner, and accelerate just like you would expect from a sport tire! I'm not sure about the tread life but I have some buddies that have been riding these tires for over 3000 miles and they still have plenty of tread left!

So far this tire is great. It looks cool which hardly matters at all but it handles great and looks like it will last me a good deal of time. The traction in dry weather is superb. I haven't ridden in rain or wet terrain cuz I don't trust myself enough yet. But it doesn't rain much in Cali anyway. The tire is very stable and tread life looks great after riding nearly 1000 miles. Motorcycle superstore rocks!!!

BT-016 Tires
I recently replaced the stock DIABLO CORSA III's on my 2008 Ducati 1098. I ride fairly aggressively, usually with a couple of track days thrown in. I decided to try the 16's as a replacement for more street riding and bump absorption, fewer track days. After only 100 miles I can say grip has been very good with no unusual handling characteristics after scrubbing them in. These tires warm up quickly and have impressed me to this point. I would highly recommend this tire for any sport bike as a replacement.

Good Tire!!!
Got these for my GSXR 07 750 for track days and to replace the OEM tires... As for traction, cornering, and stability lets just say that the tires (and the bike) never enter the picture...i don't even come close to their limits...these tires just so complement the stability and predictability of the 750 gsxr...can't evaluate wet traction since I haven't ridden them yet in wet.

These tires are awesome, I have ridden Pilot 2 ct's, powers, Bt-002's, Qualifiers, these so far are the best the grip is as advertised, The lean angles are great, I have ridden these in N. GA mountains, as well as, Barber Motorsports Park....BTW cheaper than Michelin too!!!! U can't go wrong!

I just put on a new set on my R6 and did 200 miles on it. So far so good. Excellent traction on straights and corners. Not sure about tread life though.

At first I thought the tires (I got both front and rear) were a bit skittish but then realized it is just very easy to change lines with them. I had grown used to my old tires which required bigger inputs and were very stable in a straight line and less willing to corner. The tires are compliant and do not feel harsh over irregular pavement. The tires are comfortable and confidence inspiring when cornering.

Have a 06 GSXR 600. The tires rock, stick, and great. Warm-up quick. I will buy them again! Do your self a favor and get them just make sure there not the OE replacements they are not the same!
