Product Description
Pirelli Diablo Rosso Rear Tire
  • The new concept tire from Pirelli is called the Diablo Rosso. Instead of using multi-compounds, they use what is called EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) to ensure a better grip and better performance on the road.
  • Based on their leading experience in the motorcycle racing world, they produced this tire for the street legal (super)sports motorcycles. Sports motorcycles have been increasing their power and torque over the last decade, and the tires need to follow this trend. Current tires are limited, hence the reason Pirelli came out with a new concept.
  • The structure design is aimed to maximize - at every lean angle and every speed - the contact patch; in terms of area, shape and pressure. This combination supports the tread to reach an unbeatable level of grip and stability. The tire structure has been designed in order to get the set synchronized into balanced behavior, with the 2 tires perfectly matched in dynamic use.
  • The patented Zero Degrees steel belt below the tread keeps the tires in the most suitable shape at all times and yet provides enough elasticity for a very progressive feedback and behavior in lean, allied to unbeatable bump absorption. With the support of the compound the zero degrees steel belt also guarantees huge braking stability.

Aron Hillsboro,  OR 180/55/17 Diablo Rosso This tire is great with quick lean in and excellent traction for street. The only thing I was disappointed in was tread life. It’s wearing about as fast as the Corsa III did for me. I am running this on a Buell 1125R and it looks to be about a 3500 - 4000 mile tire with spirited riding.

Neil Sioux Falls,  SD True Pirelli Had these tires for a few months now. Haven't done any wet driving, but I never do. So I just gave it a 5 since all the other areas I use this tire deserve a 5. It was a hard choice for my Ducati. I have always gone with Pirelli Dragons. However I loved all the reviews this tire was getting. So I had to try them. Not disappointed one bit!

Dale Mount Olive,  NJ Rosso Rear Superb grip. Have not run in rain yet but in dry conditions these tires give the confidence to lean into those corners with no fear. As for tread life, we will see. Have had good experience with car tires never bike so the three is just to be fair.

Zac Cypert Sugar Land,  TX Track day and everyday I bought these tires for track day. Usually wear them out in 50 or so laps. I went almost 100 laps that day and over 200 miles of track riding. I not only had great confidence on the track, I also have enough tread life left for a couple of thousand more miles. That's quality! Thanks Pirelli and Motorcycle Superstore. Zac

JC Italy,  AE DIABLO ROSSO Pirelly Diablo Rosso hypersport tires are amazing. I've done hard riding and three track days, Racalmuto and they were great. Extremely fast warm up time, even in cool weather and provide excellent feed back and control at all lean angles. Highly recommend!!!!! Will only buy Pirelli.

Lance Motorhead Lambert Camarillo,  CA Best Buy I have been riding street for 18 years and always ran Bridgestone or Dunlop. I figured I would try Pirelli after several fellow riders told me they enjoyed them. I am the first in my crew to run the new Rosso's and am very pleased! I don't do track days, but am big on canyons and coastal runs. They have a neutral turn-in and excellent traction. The only slight negative I noticed was a slight harsher straight line ride than comparable makes. If you are looking for a great bang-for-buck tire, look no further. Not only are these a great value, but Motorcycle Superstore has the best price online period. Cheers, Lance "Motorhead"

Adam Augusta,  GA Cold Start Decent tire for the money but not as good as everyone says. When the tires are cold, and its cool outside it feels like you are riding on damp pavement, caused me to spin out twice trying to pull out of a parking lot. After tires are warmed up and been riding for a while corning is squirmy at higher speeds especially if you like to get knee dragging low. However You can get low just not at high speeds.
