Item Description

Pirelli Diablo Rosso Front Tire
  • The new concept tire from Pirelli is called the Diablo Rosso. Instead of using multi- compounds, they use what is called EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) to ensure a better grip and better performance on the road.
  • Based on their leading experience in the motorcycle racing world, they produced this tire for the street legal (super)sports motorcycles. Sports motorcycles have been increasing their power and torque over the last decade, and the tires need to follow this trend. Current tires are limited, hence the reason Pirelli came out with a new concept.
  • The structure design is aimed to maximize - at every lean angle and every speed - the contact patch; in terms of area, shape and pressure. This combination supports the tread to reach an unbeatable level of grip and stability. The tire structure has been designed in order to get the set synchronized into balanced behavior, with the 2 tires perfectly matched in dynamic use.
  • The patented Zero Degrees steel belt below the tread keeps the tires in the most suitable shape at all times and yet provides enough elasticity for a very progressive feedback and behavior in lean, allied to unbeatable bump absorption. With the support of the compound the zero degrees steel belt also guarantees huge braking stability.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso front and rear

I have about 1,700 miles on so far with little to no signs of wear. I have completely fallen in love with these tires on my 2008 zx10. I bought the bike with m3's installed. I run them for about 4k miles and they do not compare to the Rosso's!! I have run four sets of diablo corsa 3's on my last bike and the Rosso's take longer to heat up, and the profile of the Rosso seems to be similar to the corsa 3. I am anxious to see how many miles the Rosso tire can go.

Great

I got the tires because I found a nail in my old one and I just read the reviews on them and they were all great and none of them lied - these tires are awesome they just carve the road, warm up real fast and just stick. I rode in the rain a couple times with them and had no problem with them what so ever great tires would get these over and over

So far, SO very good

I am more of a sport tourer, commuter, and into taking longish trips (even on a Tuono). I had previously used Metzler, Continental, and Bridgestone touring tires and wanted to try something new. I have a 2005 Tuono which is kinda aggressive on tires. After a few hundred miles all I can say is SO FAR, SO GOOD. I think the Battleax would be better for longer term. I noticed an immediate difference though, and a stickier, more confident turn into canyons, and street turns.

Diablo Rosso

These tires are sick I ride a 96 suzuki gsf 600s with race exhaust/carb's and I bought these tires as a pair for $204.00. The handling is great, a little aggressive compared to the set of mich pilots I had on. Pretty responsive, loads of traction through the corners and unbelievable amounts going straight. I like them-I suggest buying them. Also if you've thought about switching sizes do it I went from a 70 profile on both to 60's and i should have done this long ago

Rosso

Handle very nicely good warm up time and minimal shred on burn outs. Watch out for sand and if encountered wash off immediately kinda sticks to the warm tires and decreases traction! Can't say too much about wet traction only rode twice in Florida rains wasn't testing the traction that's for sure! As for life just got them. But burn outs prove they are pretty durable if that counts..

Pirelli Diablo tires front & rear

This is a great tire so far, I have been in a few curves on my Busa and it sticks to the ground good. I was a little disappointed that the tires were 3 years old. I have not ridden them in the rain yet dont know what the tread life will be since its a 3 year old tire. I did get the front and the back. If I would purchase another set from the superstore will depend on the tread life due to the tires was made in 08 and it's 2011.

I Love Em!

I bought both the front and rear at the same time, and love them! It was like night and day for me when I put them on. I used to worry about taking corners at high speeds due to my old tires would start skipping, but with these they STICK! :D I haven't rode them in wet conditions since it almost never rains here, and I've only had them for a month or so, so will have to see how long they last on tread life. Either way I love them!

Overall a great tire! It matches the rear tire I bought front here perfectly. Super sticky in the twisty bits.

wow

This tire has felt great from the start. I kept turning too sharp at first its like the tire just cuts grooves in the road. It's really stable!
