Product Description
Michelin Pilot Road 2 Front Tire
Independent tests confirm the Pilot Road 2 offers better wet grip and longer tread life than any of its competitors.
How did Michelin incorporate these two contradictory traits in one tire? MotoGP-derived 2CT technology makes it possible, using two distinct rubber compounds to achieve what was once thought impossible
Model Specific Fitment:
120/70ZR-17 D = Triumph Tiger 1050 (2008)

PR2 Front Tire
So far the tire has been GREAT gripping the corners. I haven't ridden in the rain and since it is only 1 month old I don't know how durable it will become.

I had a Michelin Pilot Power on the front and rear of my 2001 F4i when I bought it, which only lasted a few thousand miles on the rear, and only a few thousand more on the front. I first replaced my rear with a Pilot Road 2ct and LOVED it, so it was the obvious choice for the front. The Pilot Road has plenty of grip for when I hit the twisties (seems to need to be warmed up more than a Pilot Power). I also commute on this bike and ride on the highway a lot, and the tires haven't flattened out in the centers like a Pilot Power. Great all-around tire for a GREAT price!

Michelin Pilot Road 2 Review
This is my second set of Pilot Road 2's on my BMW R1100RS. While I didn't like the original Pilot Roads, the Road 2's are exceptionally good. Compared to the Metzeler Z6's the bike feels like it lost a hundred pounds. I just finished 5000 miles of 2 lane back roads in 2 weeks, about half in the rain. The tires look hardly worn. Grip is excellent in both wet and dry. If you are pushing the limits of grip with these tires, you need to take it to the track :) Yes, they are a bit more pricey, but I think it's worth it. I won't sacrifice traction for cost. Try 'em, you'll like 'em.

Michelin - Pilot Road 2 Front Tire
Using these tires on a K1200RS. I am now on my second set of PR2s and I love them. My tire of choice before was the Conti Road Attacks and I liked them but I was lucky to get 4K out of a set as the rear would get a flat spot in the center and the front would start to scallop. With the PR2s, I get better grip, no flat spots or scallops and twice the millage! Now these tires are my tire of choice.

Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire
I switched to Pilot Roads from Metzler Interact which gave me poorer service than the Metz. RoadTec. Pilot Roads on my Rt Bmw inspire confidence in twistys, sweepers, all speeds and conditions. Just when I thought no tire would best a Metzler Z6 along came Pilot Roads. Durability unknown as only 1000 miles on the Pilots. So far best tire money I have spent..

Great feel
Price was great for this tire. Only been on bike for 300 miles so I will see what kind of life it has down the road. Ride very smooth. Pleased very much.

Michelin - Pilot Road 2 Front Tire
Spooned both front and rear onto my ST1100. Have put roughly 500 miles on them. So far they are doing great. Good grip, hope they wear well. Front tire pattern looks backwards when compared to rear. Haven't had the opportunity to try them in wet weather as yet.
