This visor is exactly what I needed. It blocks the wind tremendously. There is a slight blur at some angles, but once you get used to the difference, it is perfect! Highly Recommend!

Bell Flip Up Visor Shield
I like my visor shield, but it's not perfect. The price is so low that you can't complain. And I couldn't find anything else that's close to this setup. I like the light gray tint. I like the flip up feature. So far the ratchet mechanism and down lock are holding up. But I haven't used it enough to tell how long it will last. It sure looks flimsy. I like that the built in visor doesn't catch the wind and tilt the helmet up.

Needed to lengthen slots under adjustable snaps
The shield has slots or runners to adjust the distance between snaps to fit into the snaps on helmets. The outer most positions for the shield's snaps were about a 1/4 inch too short for my helmet. I used the side of a drill bit against the edges of the slots to lengthen the slots. Then everything fit fine. Also, there is a small section of the visor that is not as clear as the remainder of the shield. However, the shield works fine and I'm happy with it generally. I wish the shield extended a bit further toward the helmet at nose and mouth level to reduce the wind noise when going above 25mph. Next time I'll just get a full face helmet.

Flip Up Visor for Bell R/T
I've always had a full (snap on) face shield. With the flip up I maintain that protection with the convenience to access my face if need be. The built-in visor has helped with the sun also.

Bell-flip up visor shield
The visor/shield fit my helmet perfect. The three snaps lined up great which is what I was concerned about since I don't have a Bell helmet. Use it for rain only - would keep rain out of neck region better if longer. Optical flaws in places which causes visual distortions. Good value for it's cost.

Bell - Flip-Up Visor Shield
Good deal overall; you get what you pay for and this shield is fairly inexpensive. It's a nice shield, sturdy and clear. It did seem to distort the view a little more than my original shield (which was also inexpensive) did. It is firm enough in the lowered position so that it doesn't flip up in the wind when you do a head check at 50+ mph.

Excellent product, just as described. Only complaint on visor is that the ratcheting only works well half up to full up. Ratchet device will not hold weight of shield from closed to about half up. Snap close position of shield works well. Snap attachment to helmet works well and stays in place. MSS had best total price I could find on line, plus their shipping time is excellent. Overall great product and great online store to buy it from. Highly recommend.

best flip-up shield
Every year I replace my helmet shield. Tried many types and styles, none are better than the Bell flip-up shield. One feature- the shield area covers more of your face than others. The flip-up ratchet has never broken on me. It is quite durable and the flip-up feature is great. You don't have to take off your helmet to read a map or having to pull over asking either for directions or some other service, just flip-up the shield, ask away, flip down and your good to go! I highly recommend this visor shield to anyone.

Bell flip-up face shield
Recently purchased the Bell flip-up face shield, in smoke. I placed it on my Fulmer helmet, and it fit perfectly. The snaps work very well, and in my opinion, looks sweet!. Also holds very well at high speeds, i.e.95+ mph. The only complaint about this face shield is that it distorts your vision a little, close to the top part of the shield. For the price I can't complain. I wonder if the clear shield would be the same way, and again for the price and fast delivery Motorcycle Superstore gave me, I think I will order the clear one as well.

I used the shield on the run-for-the-wall ride from Omaha to and from D.C. 3500 miles. Easy snap-on. No problems other than a bit of wind rattle (probably just not used to the shield on the shorty)

This is a really nice face shield that you can flip up and out of the way when your stopped and don't need that protection. You can feel comfortable without taking off your helmet such as refueling, asking for directions or having a soda or snack.

Good Fit
The flip up visor is a good fit even for big heads. The only problem encountered was getting the snaps to hold, but once attached appear solid and hold well. Tinting shade is just right for almost all conditions.

Great Fit- Bad Function
I bought this face shield and it went on great but it flips up when I check traffic or turn my head. I was going about 45 m.p.h. and it blew up and I thought I was going to lose it. That wasn't even at highway speeds. Not very functional for speeds at more than 35 m.p.h.. Get the 5 snap instead for 1/2 & 3/4 helmets.

I love the product. The quality is excellent. The price was reasonable. Delivery was fine. I think the visor could have been about 1 to 1.5" longer at the bottom because the lower edge rides right in the crease of my chin when the wind blows it back against my face while I ride my motorcycle. Maybe it is that way by design. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Flat Out Perfect Fit

Cheap Fix!
Wife wanted a full shield that could flip-up, but on a half helmet. Bought the Bell to use with our GM35X Full Dress Half Helmet and the fit is perfect. Shield attach buttons are adjustable for width and should work with any 3 button helmet.
