Mark R Ventura,  CA Rev'It Dakar Terrific pants, the only downer is the sizing. I'm usually an xl in most pants (motorcycle pants seem all to be made undersize), but in reading the reviews I bought 2xl's. Beginning to wish I’d gone 2 sizes larger. They fit perfectly without the thermal liner, but now it's getting colder, with liner in, they’re a little snug. Living in SoCal I’ll hardly have the liner in, so I can get by. But if you live anywhere where you need to use the liners for more than a couple months, go 2 sizes larger.

John State College,  PA beware of sizing chart I was looking for a pair of these Dakar pants just as they were being discontinued. I was psyched to find them on motorcyclesuperstore.com, and seemingly in my size according to the manufacturers sizing info. Unfortunately, the often read advice, “go a size up” from your normal size with relation to Rev'It! gear, proved to be the case here. Upon arrival they were too small, so I had to send them back. Every other aspect of my transaction with motorcycle superstore was fine, including the return. The closeout price was great too. I wouldn't hesitate to order the right product from them in the future.

Oscar L Charlotte,  NC I love these pants Soon to be replaced by its new version/successor the Sands pants, the Dakar is a great European-style motorcycle pant. The difference between the Revit (Dutch) fit, and US geared brands is that Revit's clothing (like Rukka et.) fits close to the body; often too close mind you! I wear 34/32 in jeans and size XL Dakar fits me like a glove. Both design and execution are of high quality. The separate rain and winter liners zip in top and bottom; a nice touch. The leather knee pads on the inside are very nice, albeit a little slippery (pu coated leather). The side pouch pockets are somewhat on the small side. However with two additional slash pockets there is ample storage space. The fabric, pro-life protectors, sturdy pulls, and well-finished cuffs make this a high quality, be it a little pricey choice. Get the last ones while you can.
