The successor to Fieldsheer's hugely popular Booster overpants, the new Mercury overpants feature adjustable knee armor and a new waistband for improved fit, and full-length double leg zippers for easier access. One of our most popular overpants just got even better!

Gaylin Sequim,  WA not for me I'm 5'5, I normally wear about a 5 in jeans. I got a size 8 in these, and they are too short. I kept wearing them until my new pants came in (Joe Rocket 7.0 Ballistic), and a layer of fabric on the inside of the thigh has ripped. I just got a copy of my receipt, and I'm going to contact Fieldsheer tomorrow to have them fixed. I have given them to my husband because he's got shorter legs. I liked the way they felt other than the knees and my exposed flesh above my 8 in. boot. My new pants fit perfectly; I guess I have long legs or something.

Laurie Kansas City,  MO Not perfect, but close (especially for what a deal I got!) I'm glad I took everyone's advice and ordered a larger size than I normally wear. In most jeans, I'm generally about a 2. So, I ordered a size 6 in these overpants. They actually fit perfect... without the liner. If I wear the liner, I don't think I'd be able to wear them *over* pants. They are also just a tad too short. But other than that, they're a really good fit. They're definitely comfortable. Some of the stitching in the knee seems to be getting a little threadbare after kneeling down to lock my wheel when parking repeatedly. I've had the pants a couple months now, but that still seems like not a very tough beating for the seams to be beginning to wear already. I would still give them a higher durability rating, just not perfect. They seem well made.Are they hot in the summer? So far, not too bad. But you definitely get a little "swamp butt" on longer rides when it's hot outside.

Rebecca Phoenix,  AZ Great pants!! I love these Fieldsheer pants. They are my second pair that I've purchased only because I have lost weight. They are true to size but if you want a baggy fit order a size larger. Very durable and waterproof. I removed the liner because in is not needed where I live. The venting is great, which is good when living in Phoenix with 115 degree weather. I purchased it in silver because in doesn't absorb the hot sun like black pants do. Great price and great quality.

Elizabeth Phoenix,  AZ Awesome pants! The Fieldsheer mercury pants are extremely durable and comfy in the riding position. Relatively easy to put on and take off thanks to the long zips on the outside of each leg. The fabric is extremely tough and looks like it can really protect against road rash. Note: I have a 34 inch inseam and these pants aren't as long as I would like in the size 14 (I wear a size 12 jean). I wear a taller boot when I ride so the fit will be okay, but keep this in mind if you have long legs.

Mal D Southern Illinois,  IL Run Small Bought these pants for my wife and the quality seems good but I had to exchange. Size appears to run 1 to 1 1/2; sizes small. Cannot really comment on durability obviously.
