M Burgert Afton,  VA Kilimanjaro 4.0 jacket - womans We just finished a 4600 mile trip to the Canadian Maritimes and the jacket was water proof during two days of heavy rains. I know the jackets are designed to be long in the back but the jacket I received seems to be particularly long. I would unzip from bottom to ride my bike comfortably. When dismounting, the edge of jacket would sometimes get caught at the bottom of the tank. I am 5'3” so this jacket would be really long for anyone shorter. While walking to restaurants in the rain we did wish the jacket had a hood that would roll up into the collar. Otherwise would recommend the jacket, we packed our old rain gear just in case but it was never needed. It will be nice to only pack one jacket and liner.

Mary Blaine,  MN Lighter colors please I love this jacket, it's warm in 40 degrees, fits nice, doesn't ride up; it’s just the dark colors and lack of vents that bother me. I ride to work at dawn more white is a must to be seen. The “THEY won't see me color”, and lack of vents are my only complaint. But I'm hoping for a mostly white, loaded with vents Kilimanjaro soon, then it will be an awesome jacket!

Cathy G Woodbridge,  VA Warm, Cozy, Protected, Visible I bought the yellow/black and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve worn it in 50 degree weather with just a shirt and I was perfectly warm. The fleece liner adds a lot for warmth and coziness. I’ve worn it in 30 degree weather with a long sleeve thermal shirt and still was not cold. The jacket really keeps the wind out. It doesn’t bunch up when I ride my bike, and the neckline doesn’t choke me when I wear it fully zipped up with the collar secured. The color (yellow/black) is a great shade- it’s a solid sporty yellow. Only thing I’d like added is small loops inside the jacket to help secure the wiring for my heated gloves. I’m 5’2” and 115 pounds. I bought a women's medium and it fits me perfectly all over. I think ordering a size up from your t-shirt size is a good idea. I’ve had zero issues with durability. I LOVE this jacket!

David K. Boardman,  Prince Edw firstgear killimanjaro jacket My wife and I have evolved into Sport Tourers. The cruisers are gone and we have two FJR1300s now so five or six hundred mile days are not uncommon. I had bought an aerostitch Darien for myself but my wife did not want to plop down 500-600. I searched and searched and after much research found the Kilimanjaro to be very close to a jacket twice its price. She cannot wait to get her first ride. Well worth considering.

Nancy Los Angeles,  NY Kilimanjaro 4.0 I bought the Kilimanjaro jacket after seeing someone wearing one. It has a fleece jacket insert that you can also wear alone, great 3 season jacket. When I got it I loved it but found it extremely bulky. I think because of the fleece jacket insert you need to really order a size up. I returned mine because of the bulkiness but I still think it's a great jacket and would try it if you need a warm jacket.
