Product Description
Nothing represents the versatility of textile jackets better than mesh. The fabric’s ability to provide loads of cooling airflow, while in the midst of a heat wave, without compromising safety is a quality no other jacket can boast. With mesh, there are no reasons for you to ride without protection no matter how hot the temperature.

Men may not admit it, but hot women need cooling too, and Firstgear’s Contour Mesh jacket for women is the perfect solution. The Contour provides maximum airflow, while featuring protective shoulder and elbow armor, and a full-sleeve wind liner. Available in a choice of seven color combinations, the Contour is the perfect jacket for summertime riding.

Features:
  • 250 denier polyester mesh for durability and maximum airflow
  • Detachable, fully sleeved wind liner with phone pocket
  • CE-approved armor to protect shoulders and elbows
  • EVA foam back pad
  • Exterior zippered pockets - 2 waist level, 1 left chest and 1 left arm
  • One internal flap pocket with snap closure
  • Ultra-suede lined mandarin collar for comfort

Simmons Savage Weaverville,  NC Womens Contour Mesh Jacket Wish the jacket had better pockets, though this is difficult on a women's jacket, and I wish that the jacket came with a lighter, waterproof liner as opposed to the more insulating liner that now comes with it. Otherwise, it has a better fit than most of the women's jackets and I bought this because I have the same item in a different color and love it!!!

Lisa Mount Holly,  NC Aptly Named - Contour Leather is my top choice but after a few summer days riding in NC heat I decided to purchase a mesh jacket. After researching several brands I went with the Firstgear Contour - initially because of its positive reviews, styling, and affordability. I did feel the need to try one on prior to purchase, based on several suggestions from other reviewers to order a size larger than normal. I'm glad I did. After trying on a similar Contour (wrong color, wrong price) at a local store I really appreciated the snug fit without sacrificing protection. I opted to stay with my normal size regardless of the tight fit in one particular area because I felt the larger size was too loose everywhere else and it displaced the padding, which negates its purpose.

Joyce Chapman Los Angeles,  CA I love my pink jacket! I love my pink jacket. But like other reviews that I read before ordering, it runs small and you have to order one to two sizes larger than what the size chart says. Other than that, it is a great jacket and I enjoy wearing it.t.

Carol B Ashland,  VA FirstGear Contour Mesh My Firstgear Contour Mesh arrived today and I must say, I am very impressed with the quality of this jacket for the money. I was concerned about the sizing after having read the reviews. But, if you go by the bust-waist-hip measurements rather than the dress sizing, it seems true to size. I normally wear a size 18 or 20 and I got the 3XL which says it’s for a 24-26 dress size. I've had a hard time finding ladies jackets large enough and have usually had to buy a man's jacket which never fit quite right. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Wendy Codorus,  PA Great jacket, but runs small! I like this jacket- nice construction and features. But just like others here have said, it's a good idea to order two sizes larger than what you ordinarily wear. I usually wear medium in First Gear jackets- I ordered an XL and it fits me well!

Holly Markhardt Plano,  IL Nice jacket if it fits I really like this jacket but it is not true to size. I measured myself before ordering this jacket and I was suppose to have plenty of room. When I got the jackat barely zips and not very comfortable.

Denise Helena,  AL Perfect Fit I ordered a XL. I'm 5'2", have 38DDD chest and muscular arms. The jacket fits perfect. It's hard trying to find womens gear that looks and fits really well. Firstgear did a very good job. I had to remove the liner due to the Alabama heat.

Maria Toronto,  ON Love the jacket - wish there was more back protection available I wish they had better back protection available with this jacket even if you have to purchase it separately. All the other protection is great in an almost perfect jacket otherwise. I bought fieldsheer back protection and had to cut and resew the pocket to fit.

Cory Ooltewah,  TN Wish I would have read the reviews first! Great jacket for the price...but I wish I would have taken the time to read the reviews! The sizing is off by at LEAST one size. Most of my female friends are on the small size so I ordered a medium - it only fit the smallest of my friends - she's about 5'1 and petite. I suspect the large will be sufficient. I gave the "fit" review a 4 simply because I don't see that as a "size" category.

Carissa Moody Saint Marys,  GA Excellent Jacket This jacket is a good buy. Nice snug contour fit and has armor in the arms and shoulders. Very comfortable and not hot. You just take the liner out and the wind goes right through it. I wore it the whole weekend of my motorcycle safety class in Savannah, GA in April. I was no hotter than everyone else with long sleeve shirts on. Only thing I wish it had was back armor. It has plenty of pockets and looks good too.
