John Orlando,  FL Very good helmet, just one flaw This helmet fits very well and appears to be a good product for the price. The one problem I have with it is the center snap is off center. The face shield is a little distorted since it won't snap on like it should. If you don't plan on using a face shield, it is a very good buy and the quality is very good. The chin strap is a very good design - the extra length has a snap to keep it from flopping around.

L8rgator Dousman,  WI Pretty but TOO tight! We bought 5 different helmets, and this one was the only disappointment. We sent it back and ordered another brand. The negatives:- Way too small! My father has a Large size head (a 23 - not even a Large on the Vega size chart), but he HATES tight helmets and wants the helmet to be so roomy it's almost not safe. So I ordered him an XL. We all knew immediately this helmet was WAY small when we tried it on. It's so undersized around the face that it has a funny shape - it's looks narrow and tall, almost like a Trojan warrior would wear. It's definitely smaller than my husband's Large of a different brand, and even my mother's Medium. Even hurts my ears to first put on - and I'm a Med. The head is slightly roomier - it's mostly the sides that feel extra snug.

Michael E. Benson Lone Jack,  WV Vega X-280 helmet You can't tell just by looking at a helmet how much protection it will give you. For that, you need product testing. I read product testing reports before I purchased the Vega and found that it is the equal to helmets costing twice as much. For the price, I consider it to be the best buy on the market. The helmet is comfortable, attractive, and according to studies will protect my head. I am very pleased with it. This is the third Vega helmet I have purchased and I have had no complaints a
