Michael Las Vegas,  NV Element SC-1 Bluetooth Helmet Overall, I am very pleased with this helmet. Would prefer visor to be more easily removed. Bluetooth works great with my MP3 player, although at speeds above 80mph sound gets a little dicey. Great price for this product, am considering ordering one for my wife so she can also listen to music when we ride together.

JN New Orleans,  LA Sound isn't great and cuts out often The helmet was very easy to pair up with the iPhone. However, the sound quality leaves much to be desired. The sound is like holding a pair of cheap headphones three inches away from your ears. At first I thought it was because the helmet was too big. I took my measurements and used the online sizing guide and ordered a medium. It turned out to be loose on me so I returned it and ordered a small. That turned out to be still too big so I returned that one and ordered an XSmall. Even with that one the sound was not great at all. Aside from that, the sound constantly cuts out for a half second or so every 30-45 seconds of play. I don't know if it's the iPhone's fault or the helmet. I haven't tried it with another Bluetooth device. I haven't tried placing or receiving a call while on the bike (I really bought this for the music). I did, however, place a call with the helmet while at home just to test it and it worked just fine. I could hear the other person and they could hear me. I don't know how it is while on the bike.

Paul Defuniak springs,  FL Really? Bluetooth? No way! Does it work? Yes! It's pretty darn loud too! I have hearing problems too, and it still rocks. I had a an issue keeping the helmet paired with my AT&T Tilt because of some random problem with the phone's software, but the audio and phone calls came through with perfect clarity when the phone cooperated. I solved the problem by getting an iPhone 3Gs. Now the helmet really rocks. iTunes sounds great through the stereo speakers. Any caller will hear background noise, but the calls are clear. As for the fit...I found that the xs is still a bit roomy, and I look like a soldier from Spaceballs. But I have music, communication capability and the protection of a DOT helmet without any wires. How can you go wrong? By far the second best purchase i made for riding. The best purchase was the bike itself.

Ken Rutland,  VT Super units Love the helmets. Fit well, and very comfortable. The only thing that needs to be improved is the wind noise that is generated thru the mic into the headphones. I contacted the factory and they said they know of the problem, but don't know how to fix it. I cut and fitted small furniture felt pads that cover the mic and it does seem to work pretty good.

nick meadows bourbonnais,  IL element-sc-1 bluetooth helmet Sizes run large compared to other helmets i have bought. A lot of air comes in around the sheild and into the phone speaker so if you get a call while riding nobody can understand what your saying. musically you can hear alright. If the phone is a major reason for buying yhe helmet. then you won't be happy with this model buy the full face model.

Richard Kuechenmeister Warren,  MI Element - SC-1 Bluetooth Helmet Great helmet for the price. Total wireless bluetooth. Stereo sound. Have phone and Zen unit paired to it. Don't use my phone from my bike, but I do like to listen to music. FM fades in and out , probably need something with a better antenna. Thinking about XM radio. Not real crazy about the large stitching around the edgeing, but nice shield. Easy to adjust volume. Med size fits like my other Med helmet, but can feel battery connection toward back bottom edge, not a big deal.

gc baldwin,  NY bluetooth helmet Let me start by saying I’m pretty deaf and love music. I ride with this helmet on and can listen to my iphone via blu-tooth with more than adequate volume which is adjustable via knob on helmet. My girlfriend has one as well and listens to her i phone and she can call me or vice versa. Phone calls are no problem at speed due to wind noise. Next best thing to no helmet......highly recommended.

richard sacco st james,  NY Element-SC-1 Bluetooth Helmet For the price this is an excellent buy. The bluetooth is very clear at 75mph. The helmet fit is very good however I originally ordered a medium which the chart said I should but I had to return it for a small which is the size I always wear. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service from Motorcycle Super Store.

Harvey Card North Reading,  MA Thanks I needed that I have to carry an on-call pager every three weeks and I was reluctant to ride when I wore it. Its a Blackberry Curve which doesn’t seem too secure and if I miss a call the Boss get's one. Now I can put it in a safe pocket and can hear the call come in, can hear the phone well and they can hear me, very freeing.

Jonny Hendricks Mountainair,  NM Wish I could have tried these on first! Bought two of these for my wife and I. The intercom is pretty much useless over 55 MPH (we have the open face model)The size runs quite a bit smaller than any other helmet I have bought. Pretty light duty also. I worry if we really need protection! Slow speed and stopped the Bluetooth works OK.
