Nice Vest
The mesh air vents were larger than I was expecting based on the pictures. It is easy to adjust the vest so it doesn't flap in the wind. Not too difficult to get an ID card out of the Velcro ID carrier. Overall a nice vest that I would recommend.

The vest meets the need for a visual standout. The various pockets are very useful. Two items I did not like on the vest were 1) the large size fits tight over military gortex jacket and 2) the main zipper is small and thin. The extra large size would have been a better pick and I do not expect the zipper pull to last very long.

Worth the Wait
I like the tiny bungee cords in the side fit-adjusting areas - very effective. I wish the front zipper and its pull were metal for long-term durability. The front ID holder is a good idea, but the security forces at my base must inspect both sides of my military ID, so the holder is not useful. Overall, a quality product that is worth the price.

Saves a ton of time going through gate, so no more fumbling through pockets looking for I.D. card and meets all military requirements (hence name). Fit and finish and quality is very good, I actually felt this thing was worth what I paid for it.
Vest breathes nice and the colors are very rich, bright and reflective, was going to buy orange until I saw yellow in person and was very impressed by its fluorescent color. Can't go wrong with its safety and convenience.

Exactly what I wanted
I purchased the hi-visibility yellow vest to be more visible to cagers. This thing fits over my leathers perfectly and looks sharp. The pockets and adjustments are very useful even for a non-military rider like me. A few times I've noticed drivers actually looking at me instead of their usual hundred mile stare. The cut of this garment makes me look sportier than I really am! Excellent vest, great Superstore experience.

Great Vest!
First off, I really do like this vest. But, I have the supersize vest as I am big guy. It states it will fit 4X. That is SO not the case (I am a 2X). But after I took the cord out and replaced it with a larger one, it fits great. You don't get hassled leaving or coming on base, in fact, I even got coined by the Wing Chief of Safety for having my stuff on. I know big deal. But... get this vest, you won't regret it.

Cooler than wearing a road gurad vest
If you ride on a military installation; regulation states that while operating a motorcycle you must wear a reflective device. I started off cheep by wearing a PT belt or a road guard vest. Getting stock by Velcro just about every time I road got bothersome and annoying. The vest is very visible, reflective, and looks great. Having to dig for my id card is a pain, but to get on base you got to pull it out. Having my ID card upfront made it easier. The vest also has a pocket upfront and in the back that is great for document and even a map. I found it to be a great inexpensive, tasteful, peace of riding gear.

PRO: Perfectly designed for on base/post traveling to meet military regulations. High visibility for all road travel with a quick access to ID on the chest, because of the hook and loop velcroe patch and ID holder. CON: Like a majority of imports, you never know if you are getting the US true to size. This zippered vest as nice and professional in appearance, just doesn't measure up to true sizing. Most biking jackets I wear are 2X, so I ordered the Supersize (2X-4X). Unfortunately, the Supersize fits like a XL. Typical of foreign imports... :-(

The vest meets all requirements for riding on a military base. The cost is comparable to the other options out there, which are very few. As for the fit it does run a bit small, if you normally wear an extra large, go for the larger sized vest.

clearly visible
I got this so when I need to go onto a military facility I'm ready. Also it fits over my jacket so I'm visible to all those people who can't see motorcycles. The front ID display is helpful and there is a rear velcro pocket over the lumbar. I got the bright yellow for better visibility. I thought the orange was ugly. Good buy and the fit was right.

Good Vis... Nice Vest
There is no question you are getting on base wearing this thing. Cars seem to be paying a bit more attention to me which is always comforting. It would be nice if Mil foundations would help out with the purchase, maybe a coupon or something. Otherwise I believe the price is very fair.

Mil Spect Vest
The vest was recommended to me by a friend who was not wearing reflective gear when he was run over one night. Lost part of his hand and was in a comma for some time. Back to riding but now wears his vest. Very comfortable and very visible. If someone runs over me, I don't want to hear any excuses about lack of visibility.

Great all around hi vis vest!
I'm a road captain in my Rolling Thunder Inc. chapter and a civilian DOD employee. I bought the mesh style since I figure it would be more comfortable in the summer. I have a super size, I'm 5'8'' 250lbs. It fits well over any jacket I wear; the bungee cord side lacing is a nice touch. I've added a few ride patches on the front and a 5x7 US flag on the back and it is still very visible. The removable ID pocket comes in handy at the gates. Most times I get waved through without being stopped. The airflow is nice in the NC summer heat also. It also has an inside pocket good for holding your cell phone. I don't like the small bulky pocket on the front, a patch or flat pocket would have been nicer. I recommend this vest to all military riders or anyone who wants to be seen more such as club road captains.

If you have to wear one of these, this is the one to wear. Very nice fit and the quality is excellent. The pouch for your CAC card is very tight...there is no way you are going to get your CAC card out of that thing while you are on the bike to show the guard. But...I really like the vest.

The Icon vest is the best for fit and features. I've tried others but they don't compare. The location of the ID Holder is extremely beneficial in the military, making it easy to pull the id and maintain control of the bike.

Great Vest
I have had one for 4 years now and absolutely love it. I have the yellow version and have experienced very little fade in the vest color. The fit is good and is adjustable to prevent flapping like the usual inexpensive vests military members end up getting. I did have to replace the ID card holder due to pulling it off (approx 1500 times) to show the gate guard when entering the base, the pull tab started separating from the clear plastic. The only complaint (a minor complaint) is that it is a solid material and not mesh so it does tend to block air flow in the summer. It isn't too restrictive at speed but can get hot in city stop and go traffic. This is my second one and I have given it as a present to a new rider. Mine is still like new when held up next to the new one. This vest is well worth the price.

Fits well and provides good visibility
I am a small person and was concerned about the fit, but it has adjustments that provide a snug fit. It is comfortable and gives off great visibilities. The mesh should be good for the summertime. I wear it over my other gear in cold weather.

Great for military riders
If you've got to wear it as a military member, you might as well look decent. Highly recommend the vest. The ID card gets stuck pretty easy. I had to lube the plastic a bit, other than that great product.

Most people think that by being a member of the military that you are required to wear a PT belt only to get on post. If you educate yourself, you would find that this is a DOD directive, and that if you are injured or killed on a motorcycle, that they will do a LOD (line of duty) investigation, and if you are found to be wrong, (not wearing your reflective belt, excessive speed, etc) that you may be required to pay your own medical bills, etc. Just thought that I would throw that out there. I have found that this vest not only fills the requirement of the applicable regulations, but it really makes a difference in the amount of room that other drivers give you. They just simply notice you sooner. The fit is excellent, as I don't even know it is on. It has an ID carrier that Velcro’s onto the vest, which is a great idea, but since the gate guards want to inspect the card only, you have to take it out of the carrier anyway. The little pocket is an alternative, and works well. I also carry my garage door opener in the pocket, and it works well for that, too. To make a long story short, I bought this to keep from putting on a stupid reflective belt that rode up on my neck, and now I don't ride anywhere, anytime without it, because of the obvious difference it makes in how soon cage drivers see me.

Just what I wanted
The only knock on this vest is the price. The vest is nice and heavy, allows good airflow but is tough and has a sturdy closure. Has lots of reflective material, has pockets front, rear, and inside, is adjustable, clings snuggly, and has a clear pouch for IDs if you happen to need those for area access.

So far have been very satisfied with this vest, I enter local military installations about two-three times each week and to date haven't experienced any issues with security. The military is taking a long and hard look at safety on motorcycles including reflective vests. This item seems to more than satisfy their needs.

Cool Safety Vest
First I'd like to state I wish they had this product when I used to be in the military. Much nicer than the junk I had to wear on base! I'm very impressed with the design of this vest. Fits well over my 3X leather jacket although the elastic tension cords on the sides could be slightly longer to allow for additional adjustment. I realize this vest needs to be snug to prevent flapping but it's slightly too tight in my opinion. Vest looks pretty good for a high visibility product and the pockets are quite useful. I like having the Velcro ID holder for use with my parking garage access card also. Overall very happy with it.

I had a fairly long wait to get this vest but it was well worth it. The product is of excellent quality and is very visible day and night. The only problem I had is the fit. The side string adjustment all the way out on the super size is still very tight and I only weigh 220#'s. I plan to buy some more cord to increase the size later but I should not have to. All in all, the vest is a great product.

Hi vis and no problems getting on base
I got the vest in yellow to try and maximize visibility since I commute daily, normally before day break. I've had several people who come in around the same time say they can see me very easily in the dark morning hours when I get to work. Also the ease of the velcro ID holder means no more searching pockets for my ID or hoping not to drop it when the gate guard wants to see it. Definitely a good fit, although it tends to ride up just a bit high on my neck. No problem really since the collar material is nice and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone riding onto a military installation, or anyone who just likes to be seen by car drivers. A little pricey for a vest, but it seems durable and should last for a long time.
