I love these boots. They were a little pricey, but well worth it. I would definitely recommend these boots.

Top Notch
These boots are expensive, but worth every dime. They look better in person than they do in the pics. The quality is on par with my Sidi Corsas. The boot has minor upgrades from the one shown in the picture. The heel guard is solid black. Boots fit true to size and my girlfriend loves them. I have full confidence that these boots will do their job.

Sidi Vertigo Lei (Don't use with a track suit)
If you're buying it with a track suit then don't even bother. My pants won't fit underneath the boot, not even close and it would need another inch of room just so the zipper could close. These are not meant for a suit despite being advertised as a track boot. The boots are also too thick because of the armor for the pants to fit around the boot as well though I wouldn't want that anyway, that's what the plates on the boot are for. I wouldn't want my suit to be damaged by sliding the boot on the ground.

The only choice women who want a race boot have
I've had mine for about 1.5 years. I have the old style, not any different other than they changed the littly "girly" design on the sides from red to pink, which, in my opinion doesn't make sense... the boot isn't pink anywhere else. Minor gripe, but when mine are worn out, Sidi better have that back to red. LOL The shoe fits true to size, ONLY if you use your European foot size and not some conversion chart. Example: My Euro size is 38.5. Had I ordered by conversion, I would have ended up with a boot about two sizes too big. How do you find your Euro size and calculate it from your length in cm of your feet? Wiki it. I'm German, I knew mine. :) The Italians and the Germans use the Euro size based on the Parisian point system (you will need to know this later because they utilize different sizing systems just like over here, and hence a conversion chart is pretty useless). Anyhow, the boot is awesome. Great protection, replaceable parts, fits true, is comfy once broken in. The heel runs a bit large, but you only notice that walking around and then it's actually kind of nice to have that extra room. While riding on the track (or street) It is of no bother to me, can't really tell, since I have my toes on the pegs and am not hanging from the heels. Major gripe, but no deal-breaker: No easily replaceable sole. Sidi boots are notorious for quickly worn out soles... and you end up walking a lot in them, unless you're one of those fortunate peeps who have a pit bike. LOL Replacement soles can be ordered, but you'll have to remove the old sole yourself with solvent and glue the new one on with "shoe glue" (get Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive). Don't cut the soles off or the new ones won't stick for long. Another hint here: Euro men's and women's sizes have the same numbers, I'm a 38.5 in either. You'll need to know that, since the replacement soles are for the men's boots. So no worries there. Bottom line: Get this boot if you are a serious-about-protection female rider who's looking for a technical boot to use on the race track or while street riding or touring. I do all three in mine and no comfort issues. Haven't wadded one up in them yet, so I can't say I've tested them personally, but I trust they will save my dawgs when I go down.

Wish these had fit! LOOK AT SIDI'S SIZE CHART
These don't seem to be available anymore, although they are the ONLY real technical boot available for women. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I managed to get a pair, but I ordered the same size as my other boots (Diadora -- nice, but less protection)...bad idea! If you want to try to order these, be sure to check Sidi's size chart -- the US/Euro conversion may be a little different than you'd think. Fingers crossed that Sidi puts out a 2011 version sometime SOON!

Just Right
I bought these boots for my 23 year old girlfriend, they truly are the best of the best. Only boot that beats this is the Men's Vortice, but Vertigo Lei is top of the line for women. Fits true to size, same as her Timberland size. First time on she had no trouble shifting or walking. Highly recommend to anyone truly concerned with safety.

HOW THEY FIT ME
I love the boots once I got them, but the heel was too big and had to get some heel inserts to remedy the problem. I am a person who has a very difficult time finding shoes so I kind of expected something but this was minor. I have rode in them now 5 times and really love them; movement is good and vents are good while riding and walking. To me they were worth the money. I got the size 42 in them, I could not go down or the length would have been too short and my toes would have been bunched up but they are good either way

Sidi - Women's Vertigo Lei Boots
Pro's: Superior protection, controlled venting, replaceable parts, adjustable for calf size.
Con's: Not a walking boot, but that is not a problem as I'd rather have a riding boot.
Pretty nice to see that after 15 years I don't have to buy men's boots to get serious rider protection. Now, if only more women understood that this kind of protection is really necessary. I don't want a broken ankle after 40 and I believe this boot will functionally care for my lower leg and foot in a fast get off.
When I stop I slip on Merrill sandals over my socks and stand the boots next to my kickstand. They air out and I avoid damaging my toenails by removing a hot boot before I walk around. I'm very pleased with these boots.

Sidi are the real deal!
Perfect fit as per sizing and the support and feel are great. On the track the first day they worked great. Shifting was perfect with the hard plate on top situated perfectly. Highly recommend these boots.
