awesome boots. great buy :)
I was searching for a waterproof, oil-resistant motorcycle boot for a while. I wanted boots that included the gear shift patch on the left boot, internal protective plates covering the important areas & that were reasonably fashionable & comfortable for street walking. I read other ppl's reviews about sizing & the boots being a bit stiff at first. Decided to go for these boots anyway. I must say that the other reviews are spot on. The leather needs to be "broken in" a tad. I wear 8.5 sneakers so with socks I just ordered a size 9 boot. The size 9 is perfect. Honestly, these boots are well made and are surpassing my expectations. Very durable & are fashionable enough that I don't need to change shoes when walking through the city. When not riding (i.e. walking in the summer with socks) these boots can feel heavy & hot inside. BUT my ankles, shins, & feet are WELL protected & dry for street riding! Great buy!

The fit is true to size. I normally wear an 8.5 with socks, and I have to wear the size 9 with heavier socks. The boots have been tested in the pouring rain and yes they kept my feet dry. They are stable when clutching and when my feet are on the ground. The leather loosened up a bit after wearing them a couple of times so now they are easy to walk in. I walked about two miles in them one day when we were at a race park and had no problems with blisters or sore feet. My only complaint is that they are hot in the summer so I can't wait to wear them in the winter when I need to keep my feet toasty. Right now I still wear them in the summer because of all the good features they have but I have to use Cool Max socks and add foot powder.

Great Boots
These boots are very comfortable! I usually wear an 8.5. Rather than going up a size, I ordered an 8 based on other reviews. I am very glad I did. The boots fit great and have enough room to wear thick socks if needed.

These boots are very warm, comfortable, and kept my feet dry in the rain. I ordered them knowing that the size would make them a bit loose so I'd have the option of wearing bulky socks if needed.

Great all-around touring boots
Yes, the sizes are pretty much spot on; adjusting with sock thickness is your only choice. I couldn't seem to get them off fast enough when I first tried them on initially, as they felt really stiff and horribly confining. But, after a ride or two, I didn't notice the ankle guard any longer and they seemed to relax a bit, too. Finally had a chance to test the waterproof factor, and if anyone's familiar with what a rainstorm in the mountains can be like... they passed with flying colors!

I wear a size 8.5 shoe. I'd read other reviews saying that the 8's were snug, but the ladies were swimming in the 9's and it was too bad the boot wasn't offered in an 8.5 size. Well, I ordered the size 8's and with my riding socks they did fit snug. I wondered if they'd stretch. Didn't want to take the chance, so returned them to Motorcycle Superstore. This store is wonderful to deal with! Very efficient! A couple of weeks later we stopped at a BMW dealership and they happened to have the same boot in stock. I tried on the 9's and with my thick socks it was a wonderful fit. I purchased them and have worn them over 3,500 miles. Did some walking in them and they broke in quickly. Rode in rain with them and my feet were toasty and dry. I like that the boot is nice enough to wear into a restaurant. I'm a passenger, so don't need the left foot reinforcement, but it presents no problem. I'd buy these boots again!

Good boots
These boots provide fantastic heat protection. They are very stiff new but that is to be expected. They also look nice enough to keep on while out and about.
