Pricey, but riding confident and comfortable
Like most A* gear, I think these are a bit pricey. Originally I ordered the Tour Master Solution WP boots because they looked decent and were a good price... Well, they were too bulky, heavy and stiff for me - basically seemed like a men's shoe tagged for a woman. I wear a size 10 but do not have wide feet ankles or calves. For me the ankle area on the TM boots was way too loose and I couldn't imagine comfortably shifting in those. So, I searched around and found a couple of videos online for the A* S-MX 5 boot which showed the boot up close and from different angles. These are my first real riding boots, but it seems like these will last a very long time. I wore them for the first time today for about 3 hours riding. I made 2 stops and walked around in them without really even noticing they weren't normal boots. At first I was a little hesitant to ride because of the stiffness, but they felt fine after about 20 minutes of riding/shifting/braking. Definitely motorcycle boots and definitely made for women. If comfort is high on your list of priorities aside from protection, I would recommend these. Toe sliders come off easily too.

If She Is Happy So Am I
I bought these for my wife before a recent touring trip to NC. When she first put them on she said they felt a tad snug and quite stiff. I suggested wearing them around the house for a day or two and they broke in fine after about a day and she loves them. She said the vents work pretty well and they fit 'TRUE TO SIZE'. I might also suggest a pair of Nelson-Rigg - WPRB-100 Waterproof Rain Boot Covers also available here as the vents will basically force feed water into your feet if caught in a summer thunderstorm but with these rain boot covers, not a problem.

Love Motorcycle Superstore service!
I called the Superstore with some questions I had about these boots and by the end of the call they were shipping the boots in the color I wanted and the perfect size to me first thing! I usually wear an 8 but the sizing runs small so an 8.5 was perfect. The boots are light and very comfortable to walk around in, not to mention very good looking. I wore them two days straight for ARC 1 & 2 in hot weather and my feet were fine.

Perfect fit...
I thought the boots would feel bulky and tight, but to my surprise I could barely tell I was wearing them. I'm not a fan of closed in-shoes so I was concerned the boots would bother my feet. I love them and so did everyone else.

S-MX5 boots
I got these boots the first time in a size 6 because I tried on some similar ones in a store in a 6 and they fit fine. However, the 6 was so tight I could not get my foot more than half way in. I returned them for a size 7 and they are perfect! I wore them around the house awhile to get used to them as they feel a bit like a cross between ski boots and motocross boots! Pretty comfortable but stiff. Haven't ridden the bike yet with them on so cannot say anything about the durability. I got the plain black and love the look of them. Get the same size as you would a pair of sneakers and they should fit.

Aplinestars - Women's Stella S-MX 5 Boots
Great boots, great fit. Just wish they had more protection around the ankles. If you're looking for a casual sport boot, I would recommend these.
