Item Description

Sidi Women's Jasmine Rain Boots

Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the Jasmine Rain for Ladies road boot. With Sidi’s great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off road boots in the world.

Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Lining: Each boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Strada series boots are fully lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Composite Insole: Sidi is the only manufacture to use a composite insole that is anatomically shaped to the rider. A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury.

Lorica®: Boot's outer is fully constructed with Lorica, a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion - yet it still breathes - with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Features:
  • Rain membrane to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the rider’s feet
  • Lorica - Cordura outer construction
  • Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining
  • Composite inner sole
  • Removable arch support
  • Internal heel protection
  • Internal ankle protection
  • Internal toe protection
  • Zipper and Velcro closure system
  • Full length inner gaiter
  • Lorica toe shift pad

Walk/hike

Kept my feet warm and dry. Fit well with or without wool socks. Most importantly I was able to get off the bike and easily walk/hike.

Euro Size

Usually wear a 7.5 ordered an 8.5 thinking they would be narrow. They were way too big and thought a 7.5 would be perfect but Sidi does not make a 7.5. Choice was 7 or 8. Noticed on Sidi box they have Euro and US size. Have many shoes with Euro size (38 to 40) so ordered the US 7 which is a Euro 39. Fit perfect. Go by your Euro size and you will get the proper fit the first time. 36=4.5 37=5.5 38=6.5 39=7 40=8 41=8.5 42=9.5. Nice looking boot.

Love these boots!

I have Sidi Mountain Bike shoes and knew I wouldn't have an issue with the quality of these boots. Comfortable to walk in, though they were a bit bigger in the toe than I expected so it took a few minutes to get used to them on the bike. It's getting hot here now, and they're a bit too much for temps in the 70's and up. Rated durability 3 just because I haven't had them long enough to judge that. Look good with jeans. All around awesome boots so far!

Sidi Jasmine Rain Boots

These boots were recommended to me by a manager at a BMW store. I have arthritis in one big toe and my feet are very hard to fit for any kind of shoe, let alone boots. These boots are awesome! The boots arrived as promised and the first time I put them on I knew they would be okay. After wearing them an entire weekend at a bike rally, I can honestly say they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I never had a need to take them off and put on my flip flops, which I tend to do. They did not require any breaking in either. I would highly recommend these boots. I wish Sidi made other boots and shoes for women!

Sidi jasmine rainboots

So far, these boots have been great. They fit true to size and seem very well made. My jeans fit easily over them, and they look fine if you are out and about. We recently did a 1,750 mile 5 day trip, and I wore them constantly. Very comfortable and I felt quite protected in them. I was amazed how I could wear them all day, even just while walking around, etc and they didn't feel clunky or big. My one "concern" with them is that in temps over 90, they are quite warm. Just an FYI if you live somewhere hot, these are not year round boots. They were fine the other days less than 90, and warm enough on our cold ride home with temps in the high 50's. All around a great investment, I would defiantly recommend them.

Great waterproof boots

I bought these Sidi boots last year, these are very comfortable boots and they were my first real riding boots. Not sure if people care but they are made in Italy (at least in 2009 they did). Perhaps that may justify the cost for some people. They're pretty slim and offer good overall protection. However, on the first day of wearing these boots for street riding, there's a noticeable scratch on the leather surface and I was pretty bummed out. I do wish they had toe shifter pads though. The boots are waterproof as advertised, good for summer/fall/spring I'd say. They took very little time to break-in. The thin reflective stripes are a nice touch. The 2009 version that I own have a vertical red stripe on the sole (it's not paint, it's part of the sole) which resembles Prada shoes. I'm not sure if they put that into the new version as I don't see it in the pictures. I wear size 8 sneakers and 8.5 for heels, the Sidi size 8 fit perfectly.

SIDI BOOTS - Great for female riders.

These boots fit great and are COMPLETELY comfortable. They are excellent for riding street bikes and never feel heavy or too large. My feet do not sweat and they also are comfortable while walking. They also look great and stylish with jeans and riding pants. Other boots I had ordered were too bulky. I'm glad I returned them and bought these. I would definitely recommend these to any female sport bike riders.

Good Fit.

My feet are narrow and it is hard to find boots that will fit. They were comfortable in 90 degree temps and warm enough in 60 degree temps. I like that they can be worn off road as well. My feet do not slide off the bike. Comfortable to walk in as well. I would recommend these boots.

Worth every penny

I have been wearing the boots for about 1-2 months now. I ride to work and for fun. Overall, I am very pleased with the boots. They fit perfectly and offer great protection. I live in AZ, and it's getting hot now, but the boots don't make my feet sweaty. In other words, they are comfortable. When I first received them, I wore them for over 8 hours, and they're still comfortable!! I gave 3 stars on durability because they're pretty new.
