I wear an Arai 3/4 open face helmet size Medium, and it's quality protection, but the helmet is a bit heavy for my daily commute (riding a scooter for 10 minutes on local streets to go to/from work). I bought both a Suomy Medium and a Small (red flower) and the Small helmet fits my head better. This helmet is not a true 3/4 though (compared with my Arai); somewhere between 3/4 and half face, sitting on your head. The shield only covers a bit more than half of your face (not to the chin).

First time I put on this helmet, the quick release got stuck. Subsequent attempts didn't go much easier plus strap is quite short and was very hard to adjust. Helmet itself also runs a tad big.

I bought this to replace an older, bulkier scooter helmet. It's BRIGHT which is so important since many drivers are oblivious to me! This one doesn't smush my face or muffle my hearing and its SUPER light. I love that the inner padding is removable and washable. Even fits in either my top case or under my saddle easily. I love the zip-off option of the extra neck protection, which I leave off in the summer and will surely re-attach for the colder months of scooting. Awesome looking helmet!

I love the flowers and the colors on this helmet...nice and bright. My scooter is red so it matches nicely. The padding on the inside is excellent and my head seems to stay cool while riding. I bought the extra smoke shield but to me it was a little hard to figure out how to change it. Also, I've loosened the chin strap as much as I can but it is still tight. Overall...I love the helmet.
