HJC CL-15 Chin Curtain
I have 1000 miles of 15-30 degree weather since installing the chin curtain. Works very well in keeping the cool air from blowing under the helmet and freezing your chin. The curtain allows enough air to keep from fogging the visor on those cold, damp Upstate NY mornings. I also experienced better bike to bike communications, due to less wind noise. This is a great value for the money.

Love this thing!
Just when I thought a mirrored visor would be the best possible enhancement to an already great helmet, I found the chin curtain. It cuts down on wind noise, makes the helmet fit more snug, and overall I am 100% satisfied with it. It *does* catch my chin/neck stubble, which can be painful. But doesn't affect me much because I'm usually sporting a close shave. You beard dudes probably won't find this very comfortable.

It has really cut down on the noise from wind and is actually a little warmer too. I use a Chatterbox for talking to my buddies and this helped. The only thing that would be nicer is solid instead of mesh.

Great to help keep some of the cold air off my chin which seems to go numb on chilly nights, haven’t had that since. Can be a bugger to get in but after that it's worth it.

How I got it installed, it works!!
I looked on-line for how to install it. Reading the reviews it sounds like some are using the velcro on the inside of the mouth part. This seems to be for a mic not the Chin Curtain. I got it installed by gently pushing the plastic strip between the helmet shell and the foam. Looking at the photo on this site that is how it is installed. It took a little force at first but once I got it started it just punched right in. It stays put and works well. Dang I wish it came with docs it took me a while to figure out how to install it. At first look it seems that there is no space between the shell and the foam but there is just enough space to install and hold firm the Chin Curtain. I hope this helps others.

As advertised
Some of the other reviews say this doesn't stay in place - I can assure that it does, after much highway riding, and removing and replacing it several times. This does what it was intended to do - cutting down wind noise, keeping the helmet a touch warmer, and there's an added benefit of more comfort when putting on the helmet (I was finding that the bottom corners of the CL-15 scraped my skin uncomfortably). Worth the money if you're thinking about adding this on a larger order to save on shipping.

Works pretty well.
It helps quiet my helmet. I can see where the attachment could be insecure on some helmets, but some double sided tape or ingenuity would solve that. I'll keep it in place until I replace the helmet..

It works ok, but doesn't stay put unless you modify it a bit
Well the product didn't really come with any instructions and the only logical way it fit doesn't seem to work so well. As soon as I tried to put my helmet on, the chin curtain would shift and almost fall out of the helmet. I had to supply my own Velcro because none was included. I put Velcro on the chin part and also at the end pieces. After I added those, the mounting was rock solid.

HJC Chin Curtain
I'd say it's a must have for any riding conditions. Its main benefit is it keeps wind from blowing up under your chin and drying out your eyes. It also stops blasts coming in when you head-check, makes the helmet quieter at highway speeds as well.

Less Wind
This curtain performs the function for which I bought it, less wind in my eyes. I would get a bit of a breeze across my face as speeds over 50 mph and quite a blast when turning my head to check my blind spot before lane changes. The curtain cuts out the breeze and blast by about 80%. This should be standard equipment.

Does the job
Does what it's for. I recommend it.

Great little product. Helmet should have come with this from factory.
Unless your chin is the size of Leno's, there's a gap between your chin and the inside of your helmet. My problem was that air would rush in and dry out my eyes and get really cold in cooler riding weather. It was a bit difficult to attach to the helmet (I had the CL-15) but it does fit securely, and more importantly, it works BEAUTIFULLY! No more wind blasting into the helmet at higher speeds; No more eyes drying up; it’s actually a little quieter as well. I've only had it for a couple weeks, so I can't attest to its durability, but it appears well built and is very comfortable.

Excellent Accessory!
The fit and function of this chin curtain is perfect! The material itself is of the same high quality material used within the helmet. It installs securely within seconds, and in actual use, helps reduce airflow to the lower jaw area. If you’re looking for that extra bit of warmth you can't go wrong spending the few bucks on this item. Don't let the cheap price fool you, I highly recommend it for those colder then normal riding days.

Save your $$$$
Cheap piece of plastic with some webbing that barely wants to stay in the helmet. If you can get it to stay in your helmet it might work to keep out rocks and debris but that's about it. It only stays in from spring tension from pushing it up under the helmet. It needs velcro or a snap or something to help keep it in place. Save your money for something else.
