Bradley Dixon minot,  ND Good Value for the $$$$$ We didn't think we needed a "super expensive" helmet for the wife, so the GMAX at $50 was a good price. But we now realize that it's NOT a HQ faceshield design or set-up, and it's showing on the helmet. "Pressure" fitted plastic on plastic wears down & out so the life expectancy of this particular helmet is in question. The shield is perfect - does what it was intended to do - block sunlight- regardless of it's poor helmet attachment design.
