Gary Norgan Boerne,  TX Shield for Bell apex helmet This shield is good quality and a good value. I have not had it long enough to make conclusions about durability, but so far (1 month) it is holding up well. Good sun glare protection.

Graven Somerset,  PA Blue Iridium Shield Great looking shield. Have worn it from 45 degrees and up. No fog problem with this one. Looks great on my helmet and adds the mystery look. Not as dark to look out of as it seems when looking in. I would use the clear one for night though.

Wayne Morris Brookfield,  MA Dark Smoke shield for Bell Apex/Sprint After being told in March by Bell Helmets that their Dark Smoke shield was out of stock and back-ordered until July (!), I searched the web and found Motorcycle Superstore, who did have them in stock. A few days later the shield arrived, securely packaged and it took only a moment to affix to my Bell Sprint helmet. Mounting instructions were clearly printed on the thick protective vinyl cover to the shield, which was easily removed once the shield was in place, preventing fingerprints during installation. (It may also be reused to protect the shield when the helmet is not in use). I bought a Bell Helmet because of their reputation for quality and ease of shield replacement and that is exactly what I got. This is a high-quality scratch-resistant and optically clear shield. I am very happy with both Bell products and Motorcycle Superstore.

Randy Smith New Braunfels,  TX good shield We got the smoke one and it is good dealing with the TX sunshine. Only down side is it is tricky getting on and off. Feels like you are about to break the thing. This is our first helmets so don't have much to base an opinion on but I THOUGHT it would be easier to get on and off.

HolyRollerz Columbus,  GA A shield coated well Got this for my new Bell Sprint, it's got a really good thick mirror finish that seems to be on there to stay. I had one for another helmet and after several correct washings, it had started to rub off, but this one seems to be quite a bit better. Get one now, & buy a jacket also to save on shipping.

Bonnie Phillipo Concord,  CA Great Helmet This is a great helmet. I have never owned one that has a screen over the air vents, nice touch. It is a little noisy but which one isn't? It is light weight and comfortable. The strap is a little too close to the neck but everything else is super.

Bonnie Phillipo Concord,  CA Poor quality coating Within the first few days of using the blue shield it started to lose color in spots and has defects on the exterior. I have a blue shield that fits my Nolan and it is beautiful and the finish is great. The one for the Apex, very poor quality finish.

bill Gilbert,  AZ Smoke shield for Bell Apex helmet I like the shield a lot. Here in AZ where there is a lot of sun this will come in handy. My only complaint is I thought it was a little high priced ($35) for just a shield. Removing the clear one and putting this on was not the easiest thing in the world, but not terribly difficult.
