David shelbyville,  IN great shield The shield is darker than what I thought it was gonna be. Real easy to put on. It’s great now that I don’t have to squint when I ride during the day now. I recommend this shield to anyone looking for a tinted one.

Doug Louisville,  CO Blue Iridium lens I didn’t know what iridium meant but ordered it anyway. Our daughter has the Black/Blue Bell Apex helmet. This lens fit great and looks great. I give it 5 stars.

Steve Matteson clinton,  TN Shield Bell quality, what else needs to be said. The stock and replacement are as good as any on the market, lot less expensive than most. I like the color option for the gold seems to brighten the view on overcast days.

Aaron Penacook,  NH Apex shield Purchased shield in polarized blue for sunny days, sunglasses don't work under/in the Bell Apex I own. I was concerned because of a review that stated some noise and fit issues, but have been completely satisfied with both. I have used it on bright sunny days, cloudy and overcast days, and dark rainy rides without any problems. It is perfect for any daylight conditions and was a good investment. I gave it a four on cost benefit more because I am cheap and always want to save a few bucks. MSS is a great and cost effective way to get gear and I am pleased to recommend it to friends who ride and want a good deal.

T Georgia,  GA Warning light touches will Scratch Product Well, where to begin... Bought this new shield as the anti-fog film was comming off of my clear one. Looked great and after 2 rides I had it sitting on the seat of my car and it brushed something lightly and scratched the new shield to pieces. Buyer beware,... when you remove your helmet, place into rigid clear container to avoid scratches!

Doug Palos Verdes,  CA Great shield I went with the dark smoke and it is perfect for the sunny days here in SoCal -- no need for sunglasses anymore. It is very clear and scratch resistant. I have used it in the cold and in the rain with no fogging -- could not be happier.

Paul Painchaud Keene,  NH Bell Replacement Shield The shield is durable and it was nice to have a clear view again. It doesn’t close as tight as the original did but is acceptable. I'll buy another because I love the Bell Apex helmet. It just fits.

Tom R Chicago,  IL Great shield Got the Blue Iridium Shield and couldn't be happier. It's not clear like it appears in the picture, but instead it's tinted and mirrored so people can't see into your helmet. You can see out of it fine though - it's shaded enough to make the sun tolerable, but not as dark as I would expect a dark smoke shield to be.
